Tuesday - Italian cookout...yah rite!!!

Today was quite a good day, have only one lecture. Its Sociology. I'm falling in love with it. The lesson is so interesting. I really start to question things that around me, in fact I have already question lotsa things even before I attended this lesson, but somehow or another, things may not be the same as it is.

I want to share this 1 theory of mine and 1 serious question...

Theory:
What ever I'm doing now will have an impact/effect on someone else/something in some other parts of the world. Is the common logic that I apply to watching soccer. For eg, I cannot finish my tutorial in time to watch the football match, den I call my friend and ask for the result, den my fren was on the other line who is toking to a punter and this punter is toking to another punter from England, and the punter was cursing at his subordinates and this surbordinate became angry and threw something at one of the Chelsea player, he gets knock, and got to get out of the field for some immediate treatment and den Man U scores a goal...
The above is just a story, something like this may happen. Even by you scratching yourself will have an impact on something or somebody else somewhere...agree?

Question:
Today we learnt about Thomas’s law. Even if something is factually untrue, if people believe it to be true, and act upon that belief, then it is true in its sociological consequences.

So which brings me to question about religion. It may not be something that contains true for centuries ago, but maybe some Dick put up this story about God died on the cross for us, and then everyone believes in it, and it spread to us now, could it be this case. And worst of all, after death, is the end of everything, ie no etnernal life. Then whats the point of us living a life with prayers when in fact we are not praying to anyone.

Not that I have serious doubt in my religion, but I'm just asking questions like this since I was a kid, and so far, no one have given me a good answer. I dun need a right answer, i just need something that, hey I can really believe in it....

No doubts for my faith, tml is Ash Wednesday, and I'm already planning to sacrifice something...

Tonite I went for some Italian Cook-out, ended up drinking all kindas wine and having not enuff food to eat because there are just too many people being invited but I must say that the food is really good. The pasta and basikto is reallie nice...

I got my Darling yesterday and finally took her for a spin today. So kwel. The clutch is too high, I'm gonna make it lower, other than that, it is pretty fun to drive. The petrol price is 1.471/litre, can someone check if singapore is cheaper? Is pretty cool...anyone game for road trip in NZ.

P!5c35 m@n ===> How true is this???

I'm not a Big Fan of horoscope, but since someone close to me said that it sounded quite like me, tell me if it is true...Personally, i feel it quite true for me to a certain extent. The way I think how horoscope works is that they covers lotsa thing, sure got one thing that is right for you. Is just like buying 1000 numbers for a 4D, your sure to win something. :)

PISCES MAN

He is very emotional and always allow himself to be very emotional. He can have a good night sleep and be in a good mood, and less than few hours at work he can be very moody. He does not understand things or try to understand things easily. If you notice him carefully, you will notice what kind of moods he is in.

He is a thinker and able to do well at work and always succeed. His normal gestures mean he always look at other people faults, but he will not talk about it. He has the ability to know your thought and able to tell you what you are thinking about.

He can mostly memorize all his anger, his loves. They are his important secrets and he will keep them to himself and will never let you know. He is not a very ambition man and careless about his position in society. Wealth does not drawn his attention, because he is not greedy man and as well he thinks money is not something that will last. He could be very careless about his future. He does not like to fight against all odds, but instead following the stream and make life easier.
Sometimes because he likes to take an easy path, which cause him very unsteady future.

He is kind and slightly lazy, but it is his cute character. He hates rules and regulations. He will never look down on people. He is a polite guy and can be very aggressive when he is mad. He loves to think that he lives in a beautiful world and surround by nice people, so if he finds his world is cruel and not what he expects, he will live in his world instead.

His other charm is that he is a funny guy, and it is his real weapon. He can tease you and yet make it looks like one of his joke. Even when he is sad, he still has that funny face, so you could hardly tell if he is mad or depress. He likes to hide his feeling and help other people especially
those who need friend or lonely.

He will be everything that you want and everything you do not want. He has a chance to make it as much as a chance to fail. He can determine to make it work and can do it well, except he tends to lost his energy with other important things, that's how he miss many of his good opportunity.

He can be happy and content by himself. What he think is important is not "Love" ,but firm status and stability. He has plenty of love for you.

He is a good speaker, as much as he is a good listener. When he is with you, he wants to be happy. He understand his partner's emotional. He likes to take a long rest and sometimes being alone. If he needs to be alone, try not to disturb him.

He is a sensitive, quiet , shy and easily hurt. He wants to feel worthy. He can be mad and noisy, but once he calm down, he will be that happy person again. He is not a jealous or possessive guy, and if he feels jealous he will hide it. He has many friends of both sex, and he care about his
friends. He likes to have lots of friends, so you can not get jealous or else you will loose him. He likes beautiful things, so if a pretty woman walk by he will look ,so do not get mad at him
knowing this fact.

When he is lonely or feeling sad, be close to comfort him. He does not like to take advice,so if you want him to listen or to follow your advice, you have to act as a good sample for him first. He
likes a cheery and a smart woman. If you treat him like he is your special person, then he will be that special person for you. He will trust you if he is in love, but try not to over doing it and spoil him too much. You have to know yourself worth all the time too.

Monday - First day of school

The school was pretty crowded, I had International Management, Psychology and French Lessons. All of them are really interesting, and I'm really glad that I'm taking them...

For the first time, I feel kinda weird, coz I'm like the only Chinese in the whole class, but I think I will get use to it soon. I just bought my french Workbook for NZ$43, is a killer, but I'm a sucker for french, so I'm willing to spend that kinda money. Just hope I can learn everything well.

Tonight we had a lesson on personal hygiene. It is pretty interesting, because they taught us in a very interactive way, where they role play for us to see. I'm pretty amazed by the fact that they actually thought of a story to bring out the learning point to us. I find this very unique and I truly learn alot from it.

Something that I learnt from this lesson is that I get into contact with 20 penises a day, sometimes even more. Look at his WEBSITE.

Thanks to people like this, who doesn't wash their hands after peeing, and then when they touch the door handles, and imagine 20 or more people touches the library door handle, and it consist of females too. Your like touching more than 20 penises and vaginas everyday.

So the next time when you touches a handle, think about this....

Finally finished LOTR

After a long week, I finally completed the Lord of The Ring series. I finished the extended version. It was pretty exciting. Especially being in New Zealand brings everything into perspective, I can totally imagine myself in the film, as I can see Mordor, Rohan or Shrine in every part of New Zealand.

I can't help but to agree with Kester about LOTR being a gay flick. It is so gay, like how Furdo and Sam, Legolas, Aragon and the Dwarf, Gimli, and there are many other parts. Everyone is gay, even Gandalf is gay.

Anyway, it is definitely different from those that I viewed it from the cinema, because of the extented version, so much nicer and complete.

For those who are still interested in LOTR, feel free to click on the following links for a good laugh...

The Hokkien Verions of the gayhood, between Golum, Furdo and Sam

The Ring which was "Placed somewhere else"

Enjoy it...

Sunday - Trekking Mt. Cargill

Woke up at 6.30am to rush for 7.30 mass. Already wake up so early for so many consecutive days, but I never seem to get tired. I wonder why. I think I'm backed to myself again, like to get myself into so many stuff.

Anyway, the trekking trip was so cool. Is a mountain that I see from my room everyday, and I finally got to trek it. So fun. The tramping trip is organised by the Tramping Club, and the best part of it is that it is free. After the trek, there is like BBQ lunch ready for us, with FREE FLOW of booze. How shiok can it be when you have beer right after the trek. :)

My first trek that I did not literally perspire at all. And people are like your tramping in sandles...seasoned trekkers can do such things, not for the amatures. ;p

On my way backed I saw the steepest street in the world, have yet to walk it, but you guys can see the pictures in my album. :)

Today, my flat cooked dinner together, everybody suppose to cook one meal, and I think we really ate alot, because we are trying to get rid of lotsa stuff from the fridge.

Getting my car tomorrow. So excited. And tonight, I will finished the LOTR...

Saturaday - Toroa trip to the L0n9 b3@cH

Woke up at 7.30am to go to the farmers market to grab some food. Nothing really spectecular. I was expecting some cheap and nice stuff, but the price dun really differ much from those from the supermarket. But I bought myself a bag of potatoes(5kg), some vegetables and Cranberries.

We went to the beach today, this time to a different beach. This beach is so nice, and is so long. Vehicles are allowed to drive on the beach, and the scenery is so nice. Take a look at the photos in
my album and u agree with me is truly amazing.

Look at the picture below, isn't it adorable. Hahaha. How often to u see Pengunie when u go to the beach...

Nobody is going to believe me that I got burnt today on the beach, but at the same time, it is freaking cold...dun be deceived by my half naked body. It hides a shivering Desmond within...

Friday - Preliminary Lectures

I think is kinda stupid to have preliminary lectures, and I just got my time table today, is like the worst time table I ever gotten for my entire life man. I have school everyday, I am going to appeal to change the timeslots.

I rejected an offer for potluck because NO MEAT today, and I am lazy to go out, partially is because, I'm nearing the completion of LOTR. I must finish it by tonight.

After their dinner, they came to jio me out for clubbing, I never seem to run out of activities eh. We went to chiong at this pub call RA Pub Cafe. The music in all the pubs are the same, and I got myself Speights for NZ$4.50, pretty cheap uh?

Saw a couple fighting in the middle of the road, the lady was winning surprisingly, and when the police arrived, the guy just walked away, and the policemen did not even gave chase. It is pretty disappointing to see that the policemen are pretty hopeless here.

On the streets from Fri-Sun, they are tons of havoc, is like a rountine for something to happen during the weekends on the streets. Everyone throwing beer bottles and tearing shops down. Thats a student city for you...

Thursday - H@LL 5p0r+5 d@y

Never really had a hall life back in Singapore, but I guess this is pretty much of it. We got our hall sports day. The weather ain't the best on this day, it rained so heavily, but the event still goes on.

I was in a dilenma of which sport should i signed up, is a contemplation between Soccer(my favo sport) and Volleyball(my best sport). Why the contemplation? Because there are people from Italy, Germany, England, Japan, Holland, Argentina, Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, France and etc who play very good soccer. When I say very good in soccer, I mean they are quite amazing in their soccer skills and I thought I should help the volleyball team out since they do not have much talent within them.

However, I finally decided to play for soccer. And I was expected to be benched(you know asians dun reallie get much chance). Because the soccer team was over-subscribed, we were spilt into Team A and Team B. Boy am I glad that I got a chance to play.

We play two matches each, and I'm from Team B. First match was 2-0 victory to us, and 2nd match was 3-1 victory to us too. I'm quite happy because I score 2 goals for the first game and the 2nd goal for the 2nd game, and i came in at the last 5mins. :p

I'm pretty fortunate to be playing with one good Italian, an Argentinian, and some africans. They supply me with so many good balls...obviously, there must be a good finisher infront of the post, and I'm glad that I made Singapore proud on this day.

After the match, all of them asked me where am I from, and they say they going to visit Singapore after NZ. Ha, soccer is like the international ISO and communication tool, so to speak..

Lotsa teams gave up and we walked over every team, because they acknowledge our pure dominace. Eventually, we were crowned Champions again for the 8th year running, but this time, with a Singapore Top-goal Scorer. ;p

Wednesday - Internation Students Orientation

It was quite fun. We got a Maori welcome. They even the mayor to come down specially to welcome us and ended of by singing some welcome song to us. Quite amusing actually...

Took up so many forms and really want to get myself involved in those things that I really wanted to do esp things that I will never have a chance to do back home.

I have already signed up for Wine Appreciation course where we will end off in some winery to try some wine(a course which basically teaches you how to appreciate and know different kind of wines and of course to get drunk), Salsa and Ballroom Dance. I figure out that I wanted to learn dancing like 2 years ago and never really got the time to do it, and finally now I got a chance to do and the price is so reasonable. Lessons will start next week.

And finally, to do the things that I really wanted to do and also thus the reason why I chose to study in New Zealand over other countries. I have checked out the Tramping Club, Canoeing club, Diving Club, Horse Riding, Surfing and Golf. I'm pretty interested in joining them, but the only thing is that they have so many activities and I will have to prioritise them. But I'm seriously looking forward to it. Doing everything at student rate, it is definitely a very good deal to do all those stuff.

Got a International Student Party at one of the pubs, one beer is NZ$4. Got to mix and mingle. Finally, after 2 weeks in NZ, got to know some Singaporeans. One of them leave like 200m away from my house back in SG.

Ran into a slight fever man, because the sun was shinning in the morning, so I went out in shorts and Long Sleeves without a jacket, and while walking to school, it started to pour, and the weather turned for the worst. Walking in the rain, and feeling terribly cold...in NZ, you can experience 4 seasons in one day. Now is summer and is already so cold, I wonder how is it going to be like when winter comes...

Pr0cRa5+!n@+!0N !s JuZ l!k3 m@s+uRb@+!0N...

At that instant, it feels good, but at the end of the day, you are just screwing yourself. So do not Procrastinate....

I haven't been updating my blog lately, largely due to the fact that I have so many activities going on and the connection here is rather cranky. However, i am going to post-date my table of events.

I'm not someone who procrastinate....those who noe mi should noe...;p

Anyway, masturbation is good, because, essentially, your making love to someone that you LOVE. :) Unless of course you dun love yourself....

Reveille @ 0530hours

Woke up at like 0530hours today for gyming. And I walked out of my house in shorts, so freaking cold. Have been a long time since I last lifted weights man. Gonna lose all the fats...

Played table tennis with my friend, had a pretty good time...

Did lotsa cooking today, made myself hamburger for breakfast, oriental lunch and fried rice for dinner.

Did my laundry, and it took me 2 hours. Wanted to buy headphones but is so expensive...:(

I was super tempted to do something really bad, but in the end quote from a dear friend of mine "I juz couldn't resist it"....I just have to do it...

I plucked the prums and the apple from our garden...just because all the others did it too. Nice and free food....way to go man...

Y0u 9ott@ M3s5@9e...

During mass today, the priest welcome us(the students) to come back to Dunedin and subsequently to make this our home. He is so friendly, and he serment was really interesting. Gotta a good quote from the church today and I thought this was something that I have always believe in...

"Don't dwell on what we've moved away from, longing for things to be as they were. I'm about to do something new and exciting. In fact, I've already begun. CAn't you see it? Look around you! There are more opportunities springing up now than ever before. Seize them!!"
Just something that I discover as I journey through life, things doesn't really come your way(at least most of the time). Dun be upset by any short-comings/changes, be brave and bold to move forward, and always constantly look for something that you will be happily doing. There is always a SOMEBODY, a SOMETHING and a SOMEWHERE for EVERYBODY. For those who think that I'm always lucky, or whatsoever tactically strategic, I'm merely +ve. :)
--------------------------------
My close buddy (Karla from Canada) and me...

Sad news came...as she was preparing lunch for both of us, she called back home(the first time since she arrived 2 weeks ago) to only find out that her grandma's funeral was yesterday. Is funeral and not death. She only gotta know about her grandma's death after her funeral. How sad can it be man. I think we should really treasure those whoa re around us, so that we won't have any regrets when they are not here. But on a lighter note, we Catholics do believe that we will all meet again...so chill, no worries.

Seeing her so sad, I decided to let her be by herself, and knowing that she probably won't want to do anything, so I asked her to my place for dinner and I will cook for her.

Look at what I did...

Good fine dinning dinner. Well done Chef nNoC3Nt

Toroa International House - My Flat & My Room

Finally got the time to post some of the pictures of my flat.

This is my flat...

Picture of my room...

View from my room...

And lastly, treasure that is stored in my room that will make sure I don't miss home..

TGIF - My First Time...

What do you think this post is about...??

Is the first full Rugby Match that I'm watching. And I'm watching in New Zealand...how cool can that be??? The atmosphere was great, and the home team was like the underdogs, and the welcome me but recording their first victory of the season, well done. Got the tix for NZ$15, 2 beers and one hotdog sandwich on top of the match, pretty good deal.

And I must admit, the beer here is....HEAVEN. After the match, we caught a bus to bring us back to the city. On the packed bus there was this drunkard kiwi who was asking who else on the bus is a kiwi, and to my surprise the whole bus was filled with different internationals, and there was like this one other kiwi, how sad rite?

Dunedin is much of a student oriented city, and most of the people here are not kiwis.

Went to Outback after that, had a booze and got pulled to dance by Marieth(she's an american). Felt so old man, almost dun remember how to dance. The music was good, and I'm like the only asian around, how weird....

Marieth was sharing about her special likings for gay boys, and she was sharing her sexual experiences with all of us. And she even said that none of those that she slept with she felt was love making, all were just sex...how sad. She told me that she is going to look for one serious one in NZ. I find it pretty weird, how serious can you get a relationship abroad, or least not someone who is constraint by geographic boundaries...

Internet connection was down today...

FiNallY M@+r!cUlated!!!

Today was like the happiest day of my stay in NZ, gone with the days that I'm still a wanderer here. I'm not fully matriculated. Their ID card is like super kwel, looks like one on the Lord of The Ring...

In order to get myself matriculated, i need to get my course approval. The course approval here is so much different from that of Singapore. I need to run around the school to get my subject Profs to sign me up for classes. Some of them are like only available for like one hour per day. So have to run here and there. But in order to get this card, it only take me 3mins or less, pretty cool yah?

Got Pasta for both Lunch and Dinner. One french girl cooked lunch for me, and my flatmate cooked for me too. So I have to keep one for dinner instead. Free meals for today eh...

Tomorrow is Rugby game, I paid NZ$15, it comes with a free drink and a BBQ, so darn cheap. Got another BBQ on Sat...friends asking me to go Queenstown, thinking abt it now...

Watched Minority Report, pretty cool even though is my 2nd time watching it.

Alright, thats all for tonight. These are the things that Toroa had planned for me...

Ciaoz...

I cooked lunch with left over food, I fried rice. It taste so nice.... How do you know that it is really nice, just look at the Before and After....spotless, of coz nice lah.

There will never be a day that I'm going to be bored, because in Toroa, there are like so many things that is installed for me.... look at this, is less than a week....

Those of you who misses me alot, I will leave my Address here, and you guys can send me snail mail. Right now, i will only be here until 26th of June. Will let you know if I'm changing to another place.

H@ppY Fr!3nd5h!p D@Y!!!

In the midst of this over-rated and commercial punt "valentine's day", back in the college days we called it Friendship Day. A day where we recognise not only our gf/bf but also people who are special to us - our friends.

I would like to take this opportunity to dedicate this day to all my friends. Each and everyone of you have bring about a +ve impact to my life, and I just want to let you know that by being able to view this page, you are already special to me in each and every way. (not everyone gets my bloggy add)

Friends do come and go, but when you really need them, unexpectedly they will be there for you no matter what.

With this opportunity, I would like to recollect about this "friendship" that was given to me by God. A friendship that it will remain in my heart always. I just want to say thank you to this two very good friends/brothers of mine, that actually made me who I'm. If wasn't for them, I wouldn't even think my childhood was complete.

I'm very fortuante to be able to share most of my youth with them - Mark and Kester.

Mark has always been a fine, young gentleman, who has always been someone that I looked up to when I was young. Kester, who WAS super carefree, not serious and damn fun guy to be with last time, and ironically, he turned to become a nerd now. =p All 3 of us did have lotsa wonderful time togehter.

Deep inside me, I know that for the person I'm now, it was mysteriously created by this friendship that we shared. You guys were the best of brothers that anyone can have, you guys are the people that I will never forget even till thy kingdom come. And there are still times that I reminisces the good old days that we shared, how I wished I can turn back time....
Even people around us are envious of our friendship...trust me, they are.

Anyway, I just want to thank God for all of you, there are like so many, but you know who you are...though many, but you are still special to me. Thank you all.

H@ppY v@|ent!n3 D@y

Wishing all couples out there a happy v'dae, and potential couples too. And for all those singles out there, JTB(just too bad). You can use friendship day as an excuse to date girls/guys out, no harm trying right?

Woke up this morning and did something quite is quite painful, both physically and emtionally. I got rid of c0RnY. It as quite an courages job I must say. cOrnY has been with me for like the past 2 months and I must finally bid it goodbye. If you guys know, I have had with me a viral wart for like the past 2 months, and the pain is really killing me. Today, I finally decided to bring an end to it. I extracted it out all by myself. As you can see from the picture, it is actaully a very deep and long root. I can feel like I'm taking something out from my flesh when I'm extracting it. And blood came oozing out profusely, and the pain was overwhelmed by the thought of finally gotten rid of it. Thats it, goodbye c()rNy, may I never get to see you again.

Waited for SMU to approved my course but till now I still have not heard anything from them, it is really taking hell lotsa time. I bought some groceries which cost me like $50, and i reckoned it is gonna last me for like 2 weeks. Look at the stuff that I brought...

I was suppose cook dinner for myself, but i ended up cooking for everyone in my flat, I cooked brown rice and mushrooms. I have got lotsa compliments from my flatmates, I think is because I used the right sauce - Singapore's Oyster Sauce. The rice weren't really enough, but they dun eat much rice either. Then Karla cooked some chicken and Kevin cooked some beef, everything adds up to very nice....

We ended the day with a the movie - LOVE ACTUALLY. Quite happening eh? THere were like so many people having love sick because their partners are not here with them, the whole hall was filled with people. And I finally get to see the uncensored part of it. I trully enjoyed the night.

Day 3 - I thought I could rest...

Woke up early to go for morning mass. The church is pretty nice, but mostly only old people attend. Where have all the young guns gone to. The serment was interesting, at least more so as compared to SG.

There was this Italian girl in my flat and she is a Catholic, then i was telling her that I went to church this morning and asked her to join me next week, and she said, she is "not so catholic" and she doesn't go church. And unfortunately, most of the Italians are like that too, thats what she said.

Lunch was great because the great chef finally get his hands to make some nice food.

So many time that I refuse to cook, is not because I can't cook, but is because I'm lazy to do anything. But of coz, if i get my act together, nothing is impossible yay? (stoopid aussie or kiwi accent)

We went to the beach today, the waves were amazing, and it was like showering. There are like so many surfers, I swear I'm going to take lessons to surf. Is so fun. The water was like freezing cold, but I jumped in for a good cold swim with the waves. I was hesitating at first because I will look stupid doing it, but then again, I was thinking, how often do I have a chance to go this, in your life, if possible try as many things as possible, and it was so much fun. I kinda find back my old self where I just did anything and everything. It was freezing but when you get out, your whole body turns numb, and you dun feel cold anymore, then I went back to swim again. hahaha. Look at my photo album for pictures.

Dinner was cooked by my flatmate, Elena from Italy. Of coz, she cooked her country's speciality - pasta and she invited her Italian friends over. Is really nice to cook together (FREE FOOD again). and to like meet new people. Another of my flatmate - Kevin joined us. Then he was telling us that in US only the guys give the girls present on V'day, the reverse does not hold true. Girls nowadays are like expecting so much man...

And tonight movie screening is....Kung Fu Hustle. Even Ang Mohs like chinese movie, OMG. hahaha. Alright been a long day, will be exploring more in the coming days. :)

Day 2 - The weird things that the people here do

Forced myself to wake up just to meet my buddy(mentor) Iurant, this Brazilian guy. A nice guy who swears alot. He showed me to the city and I really see lotsa weirdos. Is like the people do not care about the rain, the walk in it as if the rain are part of the landscaping. Lotsa people walked bare footed on the streets, and the best part is the whole body was dressed nicely except they dun wear shoes. And the weather is so freaking cold, there are people who are wearing singlets and shorts around the streets. Whats wrong with these people man?

Today is day 2, look below, these are the activities planned for us...

The BBQ was great, FREE food of coz. I'm aiming for $40/week on food, i think is achievable. Went to the supermarts, most of the food are more expensive than SG other than milk, fruits and wines. They are dirt cheap. I should have wine chill out everyday. :)

I'm quite close to this Canadian Lady who is doing her post grad here, she is Karla. She is a really nice person, one of the reason is because she cook dinner for me. We had some left over BBQ food, and she made some salad. Pretty nice...

Last night we caught a movie, bewitched, tonight we watched stone cold. :) Pretty nice movie I must say. At nite, we were invited for some party(housewarming party) they have it like every day. You know why...because the weather in NZ is so cold, everybody needs a house warming everyday (i came up with these. :P).

So we actually meet at someone's place and drink. They are all hardcore drunkards. They drink like water, and after we were finally finish, the party was over, we didn't make it for the party. Then some wise guys suggested we go Casino (the drunkards) so we went, and guess what, they made so much money from it. They even ask if i want the chips because they are winning too much. duh...

At night, the whole street is filled with youngsters. Mostly drunk, sleeping ard, puking, and some even came up to mi to ask me stoopid stuff.

Bought a IDD card which cost me NZD$0.03/min to call bac SG, even cheaper than calling one another in SG. Whoever misses me and want me to call you, just drop your number, I will call....

Kia Ora New Zealand

Day 1

I was greeted by a taxi driver who fetched me from the airport to my place. New Zealand is really so beautiful. Oh my god, the air is so fresh. You just feel like as if ur surrounded by peacefulness and traquility. And of coz, the scenery is amazing. Jsut sitting there doing nothing and looking at the green make u feel at ease...awww...

I was shown to my room, and my room's view was like how terrific. Is really lovely. I really like it alot. I will post some photos of it soon, as soon as i get my internet connection which I hope will be up next week.

Meanwhile, I was also given a hootie(pullover) as a package, look at it, is damn nice.

It is summer here, there is like a little sun, but most of the time, the weather is very cool, you are definitely required to wear more than one shirt. I got a heater in my room, and I have natural aircon, so no worries....

Bye Bye Singapore

The time finally came for me to leave my beloved Singapore, to head for the Utopia - New Zealand. It wasn't easy for me to leave my home for such a long period of time, and i fought hard to hold back my tears (yay rite). Anyway, just want to say a big thank you for all those who came to send me off. I really wanted a hush hush affair, and i know you guys will miss me, and so...thank you guys once again. Some lovely pictures of all those were there at the Airport. Thank you all. *hugz*

It is definitely not easy for me to travel all the way to NZ. Is like a 15hours flight. And how boring can it be. My airbus didn't offer me movie on demand. And the guys infront just totally think they eat glass for meals. They prevented me from watching so many movies. Didn't really sleep well too. :(

As you can see the pic below, i actually checked in 2 baggage which is like 50 over kg and i'm carrying 3 bags.

There is nothing much i can ask for really, i managed to get TEAM SINGAPORE netball team to help me check in one of my luggage and manage to smuggle 3 hand carry bags for 2 flights, i think i achieved pretty much. :)

After taking SQ for 2 times, i really feel like I have been excessively pampered by their services that I end up not liking other Airline service provider. SQ is indeed addictive, really addictive.

Being Twenty Something...

Being Twenty-Something (This puts it all into words perfectly.) They call it the "Quarter-life crisis." It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are a lot of things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like.

You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you do not realize is that they are realizing that too and are not really cold or catty or mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.

You look at your job. It is not even close to what you thought you would be doing or maybe you are looking for one and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and are scared.

You miss the comforts of college, of groups, of socializing with the same people on a constant basis. But then you realize that maybe they weren't so great after all.

You are beginning to understand yourself and what you want and do not want. Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging a bit more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and add things to your list of what is acceptable and what is not.

You are insecure and then secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly change is the enemy and you try and cling on to the past with dear life but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward.

You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you or you lay in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough to get to know better.

You love someone but maybe love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing his because you are not a bad person. One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap and getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic.

You go through the same emotions and questions over and over and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.

You worry about loans and money and the future and making a life for yourself and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.

The Positive Side of Life

Living on Earth is expensive,
but it does include a free trip
around the sun every year.

Birthdays are good for you;
the more you have,
the longer you live.

Happiness comes through doors you
didn't even know you left open.

Ever notice that the people who are late
are often much jollier
than the people who have to wait for them?

How long a minute is
depends on what side of the
bathroom door you're on.

Most of us go to our grave
with our music still inside of us.

If Wal-Mart is lowering prices every day,
how come nothing is free yet?

You may be only one person in the world,
but you may also be the world to one person.

Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.

Don't cry because it's over;
smile because it happened.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
and all are different colors....but
they all exist very nicely in the same box.

A truly happy person is one who
can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Have an awesome day, and
know that someone
who thinks you're great
has thought about you today!

New Philosophies of Life

Practice makes perfect.....
But nobody's perfect......
so why practice?

Save water.
Shower with your boy friend.

The wise never marry.
And when they marry they become otherwise.

If your father is a poor man, it is your fate.
But, if your father-in-law is a poor man, it's your stupidity.

I was born intelligent. Education ruined me.

A bus station is where a bus stops.
A train station is where train stops.
On my desk, I have a work station...
what more can I say..........

If it's true that we are here to help others, then,
what exactly are the others here for?

Since light travels faster than sound, people appear
bright until you hear them speak.

How come "abbreviated" is such a long word?

Money is not everything.
There's Mastercard & Visa.

One should love animals. They are so tasty.

Every man should marry.
After all, happiness is not the only thing in life.

Children in backseats cause accidents.
Accidents in backseats cause children.

"Your future depends on your dreams"
So go to sleep

There should be a better way to start a day than
waking up every morning

"Hard work never killed anybody"
But why take the risk!

"Work fascinates me" I can look at it for hours!

When two's company, three's the result!

A dress is like a barbed fence.
It protects the premises without restricting the view

The more you learn, the more you know.
The more you know, the more you forget.
The more you forget, the less you know.
So.. why learn?

A survey was conducted by the U.N. worldwide.

The only question asked was: "Would you please give your most honest opinion
about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"
The survey was a HUGE failure.

In Africa they did not know what "food" meant.

In Western Europe they did not know what "shortage" meant.

In Eastern Europe they did not know what "opinion" meant.

In the Middle East they did not know what "solution" meant.

In South America they did not know what "please" meant.

In Asia they did not know what "honest" meant.

And in the USA they did not know what "the rest of the world" meant.

If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn?
Is it OK to use the AM radio after noon?
What do chickens think we taste like?
What do people in China call their good plates?
What do you call a male ladybug?
What hair color do they put on the driver's license of a bald man?
When dog food is new and improved tasting, who tests it?
Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?
Why is it called tourist season if we can't shoot at them?
Why do you need a driver's license to buy liquor when you can't drink and drive?
Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds?
Why are there Interstates in Hawaii?
Why are there flotation devices in the seats of planes instead of parachutes?
Why are cigarettes sold at gas stations where smoking is prohibited?
Have you ever imagined a world without hypothetical situations?
How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work?
If the 7-11 is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why does it have locks on the door?
Why is a bra singular and panties plural?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?
If a firefighter fights fire and a crime fighter fights crime, what does a freedom fighter fight?
If they squeeze olives to get olive oil, how do they get baby oil?
If a cow laughs, does milk come out of her nose?
If you are driving at the speed of light and you turn your headlights on, what happens?
Why do they put Braille dots on the keypad of a drive-up ATM?
Why is it that when you transport something by car it is called shipment, but when you transport something by ship it's called cargo?
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
What would Geronimo say if he jumped out of an airplane?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?
If you throw a cat out of the house, does it become kitty litter?
If aspirins are always "Take Two," why not increase the size of ONE?

Keeping a Healthy Level Of Insanity
1. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars... See if they slow down.
2. Page yourself over the intercom... Don't disguise your voice.
3. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that.
4. Put your garbage can on your desk and label it "in"
5. Put decaf in the coffee maker for 3 weeks.
Once everyone has gotten over their caffeine addictions, switch to espresso.
6. In the memo field of all your cheques, write "for sexual favours".
7. Finish all your sentences with "in accordance with the prophecy."
8. Don't use any punctuation marks.
9. As often as possible, skip rather than walk.
10. Ask people what sex they are. Laugh hysterically after they answer.
11. Specify that your drive-through order is "to go".

16. Have your coworkers address you by your wrestling name, Rock Hard Kim.
17. When the money comes out the ATM, scream "I won!", "I won! 3rd time this week!!!!!"
18. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot, yelling "run for your lives, they're loose!!"
19. Tell your children over dinner, "Due to the economy, we are going to have to let one of you go."And the final way to keep a healthy level of insanity.......
20. Send this e-mail to everyone in your address book, even if they sent it to you or asked you not to send them stuff like this.
