Soccer Fever

I just came back from a soccer game. So long never play soccer, and I also die because my stamina is so bad. But still I got a hat-trick in a triller 7-7 game. My 3rd goal was like a from a dream move, me and this argentinian guy back pass to each other twice each, and I slotted into the net with of coz a back heel. And the game was a competitive one, so to do that during the game makes me feel so good. hahaha.

Finished my last french listening test, not too bad, but i doubt i can do well again, sigh. Liam asked me during class today how much this listening test is worth, I told him 5%, he say he will skip it. And the reason he skipped it is for rugby training. Because in today's training, one of the local team coach is coming to coach them, so he say he cannot miss this opportunity. I think the people here seriously got their priorities totally wrong. Ok, I mean, it may be their lifestlye here, but harlow, ain't u suppose to get as many marks as possible, and you are unable to perform for your oral, you still do not want to try to do well. Sigh...

After the test, went to watch the Maori class performance, it was really great. There was this lady's skirt started to fall off during the performance, and she still continue smiling to the crowd, good sport and I think she handle this embarrasing situation very very well.

Lotsa thoughts...will fill it in when I'm free. Feeling hungry now, no, i cannot eat, I need to sleep now. *yawnz*

Promise

You can see in my last entry that many people do make lotsa promises, but how often are promises being fulfilled?

Promises gives people hope and something to live for. People factor in these hopes into their plans or into their lives, however, if the promises is eventually broken, I'm sure that the someone would definitely not feel good.

Just like the promise of friendship, and then your good friend start back stabbing you, the pain is so much more than someone else who is to do it.

Promises - It is really easy to make, however, if you do not have the thought and the will to evenly fulfill it, then better not to promise and not fulfill it. We often see people over-promise under deliver. Why so? The need to satisfy the other party? The need to clinch a deal?

I remembered there are times that I made ambitious promises, and I must admit that it is almost crazy and near impossible to achieve it. Even though, I have yet to break any of those yet. Just like during my internship, I was just fooling around, and I promise my boss to hit a target, and after a few weeks into it, I realized how realistically impossible it is to achieve it. But somehow, miracles happen lah, i'm lucky to get away with this promise being fulfilled. No often miracles like this happen, but this taught me a serious lesson. And that one should promise what he/she have the intention of fulfilling, or under promise and over deliver which will eventually make people more satisfy with your credibility. Or DO NOT KEEP empty promises.

And like what people always say, once the trust is broken, it is so hard to regain it back, so...dun break that promise and dun break that trust yah?

In respond to what Vera said, I am sure that it contains a certain amount of truth, however, there are always a one in a million kinda people who will be able to say No, I'm not one of the person that you mention. And no, i'm not gonna say i'm one of them(is for you to judge), but yes, there are people like this out there. :)

Guys...tsk tsk tsk...

adapted from Vera. Interesting entry...

---------------------

this entry may be an overgeneralisation and may even be hurting-ly true. so sue me.. haha.was rumaging thru my box of mail which dated back to like primary 2.oh the childishness of some the squabbles, the really bad english ( ie. hor, leh and wahpiang .. oh man, the shame ) and of course some the lovemail and memorabilia.. which led me on to think that sometimes,it's really difficult to comprehend guys.

some would with all conviction, claim that you're the one for me! at a very hormone-raging age of 15... erm. sheesh.

some would dedicate one year's journal entries as letters to you .. and tell you how they care about you so so much. but really, you don't keep in contact for half a year and walah! they are happily attached to someone else whom they probably care so so much about too.

some would profess their love for you, only to tell you that it was 'at that point of time only lar' and next thing you know, professes his love to someone else, at a certain point of time huh... and at present, won't give a damn anymore about how you're doing.some would get overly hormonal.. way too fast and too furious.

some even claim it kills them when they aren't talking to you. ( this is the most retarded if you ask me )some would be damn cheapskate, wrapping ear rings that can be purchased under 10 bucks in a Mikimoto ( exp jewellery brand fyi) carrier ( ...i hope he isn't reading this )

some would try to be nice, then overly nice til it becomes freaky... creating a very tense and akward environment, killing what was deemed a blossoming friendship.

but really.. what's in love mail... when words aren't really from the heart. what's the point in making sweeping but empty promises? guys think girls are stupid and naive and can be swayed easily by words aye.look who's the stupid and naive one now.

Last Spanish Lesson

Alright, I'm at least a little trained to speak spanish, so going to spanish speaking country would be a little easier for me. :)

The joke of the day. During my spanish lesson, a fire alarm went off, and we were told to evacute the room and out of the building. It was quite organised despite us not having any rehearsals. People here are quite cool about fire drills. The joke is while getting out of the room, I already saw a fire engine outside the building and the firemen were already out the engine.

My point is that the firemen reach the scene even before the fire alarm was set off. Is it the firemen that is efficient or there is something wrong with the fire alarm. I would believe is the latter. Anyway, it was a false alarm, so we went back to our lesson.

Studying for my french test this wed and fri. Wish me luck, next week will be all my exams, and I haven't started studying at all since school started. It will be a tedious catching up all those that I did not even bother understanding. Alright, back to mugging...

New blog to be up in June. :)

Farewell

I am one of those people who just stand airport style farewells. I admit that I often try to think up clever and creative ways to avoid such traumatic occasions. Goodbyes I don't believe are every easy. We want what is good to remain forever. Sometimes when we are leaving our dear ones, our very words of farewell contain within them some desire for the relationship to endure beyond the parting. Expressions such as "don't forget your...", or "remember to call me when you get there", or "did you bring this..." actually disguised desires that the relationship will remain.

This is so real, I will be leaving New Zealand inexactly 2 months time. Yeah, I know some of you is going say is still so long, but you often will think like there is so many things to do with so little time left. And for all the friends that I know here, will it just close as my NZ chapter ends here or will we all live up to what we promise that we will keep in contact with each other?

I have been through so many farewells, like in pri skol, sec skol, jc, army, fellowship, obs, camps, and etc.

In fact, I think farewell not only means a closure for this chapter of my life, but it also marks a new chapter of something that is amazing. Like I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten to know some of you throught this or that activity. And after the formal closure it is really up to the 2 parties to make those point of contact to ensure sustainability in the friendship.

Is never easy to say goodbye. But with every goodbye, you will want to look forward in meeting the person again or doing the same thing again, unless of coz if u hate the person/thing so much, that you can't wait to leave it now.

Life goes on, and you always want to makes new friends and do new things. But you must always remember that everything you do and every person you meet shapes you for who you are today, so you have to make the memories last.

With every farewell, there comes a reunion, and when the reunion comes, memories of what happen then will start coming back to you, to fill u with sense of going back to the history and doing the same thing or meeting the same person all over again.

So when I do eventually leave, if I ever do say Goodbye, it means that I'm hope this farewell is a Good one, and that is why it is a Goodbye and not a Badbye, and rest assure that I'm looking forward for the next Goodhellow/Goodhi/Goodhug/Goodkiss/Goodtimes.

Death

Have you ever wondered how is it like after you die? Does it ever seem to you that you will eventually cease existence in this world. And it can be anytime from now....

Have you thought how will life be like after your death, both on earth(your families, love ones and freinds) and your life after death(either ur in heaven, or reincarnated or hell maybe=p).

I always wondered how it will be like after you die, like is there really God, will I ever really get to see him/her. Is there a Heaven? I never thought of reincarnation though, but is there another wordl for me? A world that I dun require to breathe, to eat or to even work, just do what I want to do. :) Or is it Is The End. Full stop. Period. No more of myself. Will I even know if i'm dead? Will I even have feelings when I dead...???

Not that I'm looking forward to death, neither am I afraid of death. But I think you always want to know how is it like to do this and that....

I think losing someone so dear to you is always hard to bear, which gives you more reasons to treat the person well when he/she is still alive. More often than not we are always brought down by our work. A very good example is that you always have the word 'busy' as a reason for not being able to meet your friend. In this first place it is never easy to maintain a good relationship, nobody say it would. Saying "Busy" is easy, but to actually make the effort for a friend who is well worth it, I bet it will be even easier. Of coz if he/she doesn't mean anything to u, den u dun really have to bother lah.

Ok, a little side track...but my point is, have you ever give a thought to death. Have it ever occur to you that it is so real and true and is can happen anytime and anywhere. I have yet to reach a conclusion, and never will until I reach that day. But meanwhile, why bother thinking so much, just as long as u do what you want to do, treasure all those that you love and care for, live will be as good as it gets.

Let Me Die

Are we at war tonight
Will there be angels whispering to midnight
Don't wake when lightning strikes

My heart for you is true
Let no one take that from you
Time is running tight
Can't change from wrong to right

So I'll close my eyes and dream a little
Just like how we used to be baby

Its time to say farewell now
No need to cry of feelings
Oh it's alright
I'll end the end of lies

Heaven grant me one last wish I beg you
Let me say these words before I go

I will love you till the end of time
Every breath of mine
I'll hold you by my side
But I'll rest in peace
My sweetheart would you
Let me die in your arms with you
Only you can stop the rain tonight
Only you can change my world from black to white
So I'll close my eyes and dream a little more

Are we at war tonight
Will there be angels whispering to midnight
Don't wake when lightning strikes

Heaven grant me one last wish I beg you
Let me say these words before I go

I will love you till the end of time
Every breath of mine
I'll hold you by my side
But I'll rest in peace
My sweetheart would you
Let me die in your arms with you
Only you can stop the rain tonight
Only you can get me straight to fight
Till the sky is burning
It's the end of time

Look ahead tomorrow
Long and winding road

Keep the faith of mine
Don't let it go
You're the only reason
That I'm growing cold
What would I do
Without you

I will love you till the end of time
Every breath of mine
I'll hold you by my side
But I'll rest in peace
My sweetheart would you
Let me die in your arms with you
Only you can stop the rain tonight
Only you can make my world so bright
Life no longer ends here with you in my heart

In my heart...

Chocolate boosts brain power

Thats is why I start taking Milk Chocolate...

------------

Chocolate lovers rejoice. A new study hints that eating milk chocolate may boost brain function. "Chocolate contains many substances that act as stimulants, such as theobromine, phenethylamine, and caffeine," Dr Bryan Raudenbush from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia noted in comments to Reuters Health.

"These substances by themselves have previously been found to increase alertness and attention and what we have found is that by consuming chocolate you can get the stimulating effects, which then lead to increased mental performance."

To study the effects of various chocolate types on brain power, Raudenbush and colleagues had a group of volunteers consume, on four separate occasions, 85 grams of milk chocolate; 85 grams of dark chocolate; 85 grams of carob; and nothing (the control condition).

After a 15-minute digestive period, participants completed a variety of computer-based neuropsychological tests designed to assess cognitive performance including memory, attention span, reaction time, and problem solving.

"Composite scores for verbal and visual memory were significantly higher for milk chocolate than the other conditions," Raudenbush told Reuters Health. And consumption of milk and dark chocolate was associated with improved impulse control and reaction time. Previous research has shown that some nutrients in food aid in glucose release and increased blood flow, which may augment cognitive performance.

The current findings, said Raudenbush, "provide support for nutrient release via chocolate consumption to enhance cognitive performance." So, the next time you can't resist your sweet tooth temptation, you'll do good by having a nice bar of milk chocolate.

Does a relationship ever need to be worked on a reciprocal condition?

Does what you received equate to what you will want to give?

Is it because I he/she did this to me and that is why I must do this and that to him/her?

I often feel unconditional about giving to all relationship, and never want anything back in return. But when I chanced upon an incident that my frenz juz left me out of his/her group of people that he/she miss, I realized my name is not in there. I'm not jealous lah, but just felt...felt as if I want something back in return. Or probably want to be in the "top" list.

Am I starting to expect something in return. Oh well, I shouldn't be reading too much into things. I should just let nature takes its course. :(

Is Finally Over...

Lotsa things to blog about.....I should start it periodically.

Soci Essay Over
Alright, have been really busy trying to put my act together to finish my dreadful sociology essay. Have been doing it since Monday, and I finally finished it on Friday morning. And during this time, I have been feasting on Pizzas for dinner. Now I'm kinda sick of Pizza, but I know it is the easiest and the cheapest way of preparing. Just put it in the oven, then everything is ok.

The above picture shows my computer, my research test, my pizza and my trusty Speights Beer.

French Oral Test
Ok, is not what you guys are thinking. It is French Verbal test. I only started memorizing my dialouge like on Friday morning, 2 hours before the test. My partner(Liam) and I are suppose to talk for 5minutes. I have a good 4 pages of script to memorise. And it is so hard... Liam doesn't really even try to memorize because he can't really be bothered about it, or at least he said that he is busy. How busy can he be when he is only taking 3 papers when 1 of them is a repeated paper. Sigh...

So we went into the test room. And the examiners start asking Liam questions. We are suppose to answer 5 questions that they ask. Liam was asked first, he was totally blank plus the fact that he is so nervous and he is like blushing. Ha, can't imagine a Bo Chap guy like him get nervous like this. But I must admit I do not even understand the questions, he was like stunned.

Then it came my turn. The first question, what is the profession of Nicolas Legrand(a character in my textbook). I was shocked by the fact that the question they ask is so easy. So I was like A Singer. Then they nod their head. The 2nd question, how much is 9+10. Then I was shocked again, hahaha, then I say 19. Then they nodded their heads again, as if I'm like a professional french speaker. Then the 3rd question they ask me to describe the room(my professor's room). I knew she like orange, so I said the table cloth is orange, and the room is filled with 2 babes(the examiners) and 2 hunks(liam and myself). They started laughing. Alright, and the last 2 question I dun understand so I passed it. But I'm happy that I answered the questions which many fail to even understand. Liam was like what the hell, how come he got all the tough questions and I got all the easy ones. hahaha.

Then we started with our dialouge, and when I'm just saying my 5th line, they(the examiners) cut in and ask us questions. We were caught by surprise. And Liam was blank again. But they helped him along, and I think I manage to answer all the questions. Now I really need to fully prepare for my French finals. I know I can do well if I want to. But I'm really scared that I will fail. But but but...this oral preparations really boosted my confidence and I really want to do well, so studying for french starts today for me.

Contamination
I went down to the kitchen to wash my bowl after lunch after I came out from the wash room. And my dearest flatmate, the aussie girl was just walking infront of me. And when both of us reached the sink in the kitchen. She told me that she is disgusted with me. And I asked her why, she said that I should wash my hands up there and not in the kitchen, so I asked why, and she brought out the touching 1000penis logic that after using the toilet, my hands is dirty and when I touch the handle of the tap, it contaminates it. So I was like. Ok, so assuming if i washed my hands up there, I will contaminate the tap then I wash my hands, and when I off it, I will touch the tap again right, so I will contaminate my clean hands. So now my hands are contaminated again, and when I go down to the kitchen and touch the tap, wouldn't it be contaminated too? Oh well, she was disgusted. And I'm utterly disgusted by the way she argues. Oppps, did i mention that someone is studying law. hahaha, not angry, but I just find it amusing. But relationship between us is getting better, because we are starting to accept the differences.

Silvia's Party
Silvia is having a birthday party tonight, and finally last party before exam, how cool. When we always say last party, it is never the case, there is party everyday, but I have been a good boy. So...I deserve to go party...=p

King Arthur and the Witch

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.

The question?...What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer.

But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend!

Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life.

He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur.

He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table.

Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question thus:

What a woman really wants, she answered....is to be in charge of her own life.

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared.

And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened.

The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.

Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night?

Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day, but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments?

What would YOU do?

Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.Now....what is the moral to this story?

The moral is..... If you don't let a woman have her own way....Things are going to get ugly

‘Da Vinci Code’ undermines beliefs, response group says in poll release

I have yet to catch this show but I have read the book, dun really believe much of it though many say it contains certain amount of truth. Well, leave this to your faith...

------------------------------------

5/17/2006
Catholic Online (
www.catholic.org)

LONDON (Catholic Online) – Reading The Da Vinci Code has had a dramatic impact in undermining belief in Catholic Church doctrine and the movie of the same name should contain a “health warning,” said a group that drew upon the results of its commissioned survey of Britons.

SOUTH KOREAN CHRISTIANS PICKET OUTSIDE THEATER – South Korean Christians picket in front of a theater advertising "The Da Vinci Code" movie in Seoul May 18. The slogans on the signs read "The content of 'The Da Vinci Code' is not a fact," and "'The Da Vinci Code' is no more than fiction." (CNS/Reuters)

Those reading the novel are twice as likely to believe the book’s central tenet that Jesus Christ fathered children and four times as likely to see the Catholic organization, Opus Dei, as a murderous sect, according to the Opinion Research Business poll released May 16, 2006, by The Da Vinci Code Response Group.

The ad hoc group, coordinated by Austen Ivereigh, director for public affairs of the Archdiocese of Westminster here, includes as members a Benedictine abbot, priests and lay people working in communications, theologians and academics and Opus Dei members.

A total of five questions were asked of a nationally representative sample of more than 1,000 adults during the weekend of May 13 and 14.

The survey underscored the novel’s popularity, with more than one in five adults (22 percent) in Britain reading it.

But it also demonstrated the vulnerability of millions to author Dan Brown’s mixture of fact and fiction, The Da Vinci Code Response Group said in a statement, accusing Brown of a dishonest marketing strategy based on peddling fiction as fact.

Of those questioned in the poll, 60 percent who had read the book believed there was truth to the suggestion that Mary Magdalene bore children of Jesus, compared with 30 percent of those who believe that but had not read the book.

Of those who have read the book, almost one in three (32 percent) think the Priory of Sion is a real medieval organization, a figure which falls to just 6 percent among non-readers. The Priory of Sion was a 20th hoax that the author has suggested at the beginning of the novel exists and was a real medieval organization.

“Our poll shows that for many, many people The Da Vinci Code is not just entertainment,” Ivereigh said. “For many it is just fiction. But an alarming number of people take its spurious claims very seriously indeed.”

The response group said that the survey results support its claim for that Sony Pictures include a disclaimer at the beginning of the film.

The film, which was shown to journalists in Cannes, France, May 16, and is to be released worldwide on May 19, does not include any such warning.

“From the start, the marketing strategy behind The Da Vinci Code has been to claim that it is based on respected theories,” Ivereigh said. “Brown and Sony have encouraged people to take it seriously, while hiding behind the claim that it is fiction. Our poll shows they should take responsibility for their dishonesty, and issue a health warning.”

The Da Vinci Code Response Group said that there is some reassurance for the Catholic Church in the survey, with just more than half (52 percent) of all respondents and 50 percent of those who read the book saying that they did not believe that it had covered up the truth about Jesus Christ.

But among the remainder, those who had read the book were more likely (36 percent) than those who hadn’t read it (25 percent) to believe the church was engaged in a 2,000-year conspiracy to cover up the truth.

Asked if they thought whether the Catholic organization Opus Dei had ever ordered or carried out a murder, 17 percent of readers believe it has, compared with just 4 percent of non-readers.
Jack Valero, spokesman for Opus Dei UK, described it as an “astonishing” statistic.

“Since we were founded in 1928, Opus Dei has promoted the highest moral standards at work, spreading a message of Christian love and understanding,” he said. “Yet The Da Vinci Code has persuaded hundreds of thousands of people that we have blood on our hands.”

“We have been saying that the Da Vinci Code is harmless fun as long as you don’t take it seriously,” Ivereigh added. “But it will be hard for Catholics to enjoy the film knowing that hundreds of thousands do take it seriously.”

The Da Vinci Code Response Group, in an early May statement, said that claims the book is based on “facts and respectable theories” have led to the deception of many people that “is likely to be reinforced by the film” version.

“The Da Vinci Code is fiction trading as fact,” the group said, adding that the book “is fun and harmless in so far as it is treated as fiction.”

100% Maori & NZ experience

I spend Sat in Marae, and really had a very good time. Marae is like a place for gathering of the Maoris. But in this gathering, we were invited by the students who are taking maori culture lessons in Otago. They shared with us lotsa Maori cultures, songs, and stories. It is really an eye-opener.

There was this clift that was near the Marae which is quite nice.
Then saw this Angliscan Church just above the Marae. It was nicely located and was built but the scottish...
It has always been my agenda not only to get the max out of the adventurous aspect in NZ but also to learn more on the Maori culture in NZ. Not that I know alot about Maori now, but I know that I have taken this step that definitely change my perspective and impressions of Maoris and want to know them even more.

The Maoris woke us up at 7.30am. It was a good wake up call, coz we went out and we shall the sun-rise...it was awesome. Simple pleasures of life...

I think the SIF-Asean Fellowship have played a very big and important part in my life especially when it comes to understanding and tolerating cultures and customs. And befriending people from different nationalities.

This weekend really makes me feel as if there is no more school, and it is really a good place for retreat, where u withness this very real sense of calmness and traquility. I find it both spiritually and physically enlightening. And I long for more of such feelings again.

The host who is a Maori stayed in Singapore for 2 years. And the world is so small that both of us are related because he was there for some military exchange and he was in Singapore for Para training. And then we can talk about army life. So weird, first time finding a foreigner to talk about army life. hahaha.

Went with 7 other people from Toroa. Not only the experience in Marae is good, the companionship is equally good.
Now I can really consider myself having a 100% Pure New Zealand Experience.

View from my Flat

Ever wonder how beautiful mother nature is. I just like looking out of my window everytime, because I always see the beauty of mother nature. It is not the alarm clock that wakes me up in the morning, is the colour of the sky that I see makes me wake up to appreciate her beauty. Sometimes u choose to sleep the sunrise away or work the sunset away. But when I'm here, I never give up on these opportunites. All these are the little things in life that makes u appreciate life so much more.....
I just love the way mother nature is...muacks.

Lagged entries --> Friday

Today was just like any other day, other than me borrowing books for the first time from a Library in my university life. I borrowed 6 books to do my essay for sociology. hahaha. For business modules I usually use journal from online library, but then for arts subject, I must use books man...coz lotsa journals quite crap.

Then, I suggested to Mingyang to go to the mountain top to take a sunset biew of the city. And the view was fantastic.
I didn't expect to be so cold up there. My hand was frozen till the point that I cannot even feel the camera while taking the photo. It is a really nice view. But that is something I won't do often, because it like putting myself in a refrigerator for close to an hour. Mad!!!!

I ended the day with fried rice with mussels and Zhi Mou Tian Hou movie. I juz love watching movies...

Weekend is near...

Today is a very fruitful day....

I did my oral preparations. I did my outline for my presentation next week. I settle most of my weekend homework. :)

I'm kind of intriuged by the work ethics of my groupmates for presentation. We are suppose to meet up to discuss about the outline and assigned who take what in class. Then when I went to class today, they 'sort' of like decided who do what. Efficient? I beg to differ, it is more like Kiasuism....I was assigned to the last topic which I have to read 41 pages. The rest choose the first 2 topics. One is 9 page and the other is 11 page.

Each can topic suppose to have 2 person to prepare. Then, the person who is suppose to do with me is a French girl, and the ang moh and indian quickly took the first 2. You see, taking the french girl is like another additional burden, because not only have I do everything alone, I still have to vet her stuff. Not that I'm not willing, but I feel it is not even group work, because they do not even bother to help. Speaking of doing well, now I'm gonna practice what an exchange student does best, is to do just enough to pass. :) So I totally heck care, and I'm not gonna do ppt and I will do just enough. ;p

Next week, I have 1 assignment due, 1 essay due & 1 oral test. The week after, I have one last French test b4 my exams.

Planning for Steward Island trip...

Do you know Creative owns patents for all MP3 players? That includes the Ipods.

In Case many of you still do not know, especially Ipod user, the mp3 player is originated from Creative. For every Ipod that is sold, royalties will be given to Creative. It is a big business, however, the creator are not good enough to exploit their natural advantage over the sales of mp3 players. Lets hope this case that they just filed will help them win back what they deserve. :)

Creative goes to court in bid to block iPod sales in US

By Bryan Lee May 17, 2006 The Straits Times

SINGAPORE'S Creative Technology has taken its fight with its rival Apple Computer over the MP3 music player market to a new level - by seeking a legal ban on Apple's sale of its best-selling iPod in the United States.

Creative, whose line of Zen MP3 players remains a distant No. 2 in the vital US market, and elsewhere, has taken twin-pronged legal action against Apple in the US.

On Monday, it filed a complaint with the US International Trade Commission, claiming Apple's iPods breached a patent it holds over a technology used in iPods. It has also filed a lawsuit in California against the US giant on similar grounds, seeking financial damages, along with a halt to US iPod sales.

The move could give Creative a chance to reverse its fortunes, observers said yesterday, if the court bars Apple from selling iPods, which account for about three in four MP3 players sold in the US. But legal experts say the more probable pay-off Creative can hope for is damages.

Creative has alleged that Apple is violating American trade law by importing its China-made iPod and iPod Nano players and selling them in the US. It said the players infringed a patent Creative was awarded nine months ago by the US Patent Office.

The patent, which it had applied for in 2001, relates to a technology to make it easier for MP3 listeners to find and play songs. Creative claims Apple is using this technology in the China-made players sold in the US.

And the Singapore firm has stated in documents filed with the Northern Californian District Court that it deserves a high level of financial damages as Apple had 'willfully' infringed this patent.

Creative's latest salvo suggests it remains keen to continue the MP3 'war' it declared on Apple at the end of 2004, when it unveiled ambitions of capturing 40 per cent of the world market by the end of last year. Instead, it has been bloodied by price competition from both Apple and smaller rivals, bleeding a record US$114.4 million (S$182 million) in losses in the most recent quarter ended March 31. Until yesterday, its share price had tanked to new five-year lows every day in recent weeks.

There was a respite yesterday, when it surged 25 cents, or 2.8 per cent, to close at $9.15 apiece, bucking a 0.8 per cent slide by the benchmark Straits Times Index.

But brokerage house Kim Eng Securities' analyst Gregory Yap said Creative's latest assault is unlikely to do many favours for the stock in the short term, noting that yesterday's upturn came on thin trading. 'Litigation costs in the US will be expensive and management focus that should be on the business may be lost.'

Still, UOB Kay Hian's Jonathan Koh said the legal costs are small relative to the sales Creative is losing to Apple. 'If Creative does get the injunction it is seeking, we could see a major turnaround. '

Keystone Law Corp director Siew Kum Hong said the recent US$612.5 million paid by Research In Motion, maker of the BlackBerry mobile e-mail phone, to settle a patent dispute indicates the stakes involved.

But Mr Lionel Tan, a partner at law firm Rajah and Tannn, said: 'The one thing that is clear is that this will be long drawn case.'

An Apple spokesman in Singapore declined comment yesterday.

Norway National Day

Today was quite a fruitful day, a quite relaxed one though. I had my last horse riding lesson. And towards the end, I told Taco that I will be leaving him, I was adjusting my camera with my back facing him, his snuggle beside me and put his head beside me and then I did a self-service photo with Taco. He is such a gem.....

I'm contemplating to take up an intermediate course to improve on my trotting. We shall see about that. To do something in Singapore would cost me like 300 plus per lesson. And even by getting a good deal in M'sia, it still cost above hundreds. I do a 2 hour lesson for $20. Even cheaper than wakeboarding.

I watched Underworld today, and I can't wait to get my hands on Underworld 2. Anyone has it, please pass it to me. It is so nice.

Then went on out for a Norway National Day Celebration. It was good company, with good Italian food, and get to know a little bit more on Norway. The night was interesting, it could be better though. I can already imagine how much I will miss drinking wines, eating cheese and cooking when I go back Singapore.

Lelong Lelong, Car 4 Sale in NZ

Mellow day

Had my presentation today. This time the tutor didn't say I have a nice outfit, he just side-track and asked me which country I'm from during my QnA. After this presentation, I think I had made the best choice of my life, I think choosing to go into Business is really one of my strengthens. Like I totally have no serious interest in memorizing stuff, I'm more of a person who likes to apply and innovate.

I read my psychology book for like the whole weekend. And I didn't bother to memorise anything, like I say, I took the courses that I'm totally interested in, and I only need to pass. Had a test today, surprisingly, I was expecting a tougher paper, but it was all well and do-able. Finish 40 MCQ is 20mins and I was given an hour to do.

Today I battled the Zzzzz monster while I'm studying. I finally know how to overcome it. yeah...
I'm like a sleeping god, can sleep anywhere and anytime. All my friends here are complaining that I'm sleeping everywhere...as in literally sleeping everywhere, so pls dun get me wrong.

For some reasons or another, I lost the scarf that Meredith made for me on my Birthday, I need to find it man, is becoming colder everyday, and I finally have a good plan this weekend, after so long. :)

Tomorrow is my last lesson for horse riding, and I'm left with 1 essay, 1 presentation, 1 oral test, and 1 test before my finals which of course I'm planning not to study. :)

Memory - 2 types

Memory is mainly caused by two effects, namely primary effect and recency effect.

We tend to remember things in the earlier stages, like how we can remember ceteris paribus in our economics because it is in the beginning of our economics class, and how we know simultaneous equations in our Amaths because we learn it in our introductory lessons. And usually the middle part of the lesson, we tend to forget alot just like how our memory work.

Towards the end of every experience, we will tend to remember things more clearly, and thats is called the recency effect. Like during tests and exams, we do not focus on the last few lesson because we still remember what is taught, not because it is easy, but because it is still recent to us.

Likewise, if you seek to impress your prof for participation points, or impressing your boss, do remember that recency effect is only 50% the other part is the primary effect, impress at the first impression, den middle part juz slack off, hahaha....

Well, good lesson learn from my psycho. Ok, back to studies, big test tml. :)

Attention Deficiency Order

Have you heard the song "You are almost here". I think I'm suffering from seriously attention deficiency order. I can't seem to be paying attention to people around me even though they are talking to me when it is just the two of us. I just asked Karla how come you left the party without me, and she said that she told me and I answered "so early", but I seriously did not remembered saying. And it happens many times to many different people.

I'm not like distracted, but my mind is like occupied. Let me offer an explaination which I hope it is not some sort of excuse. Having a mind that is 24/7 thinking about things, I love how my minds work, like how it constantly think about how to effectively do things and think about lotsa stuff.

Many times my friends get annoyed by the fact that they are talking to me, and even shouting at me, and I can't really hear them because my mind is like occupied. It is so amazing how minds work. It is kinda hard to understand how I'm suffering from this when I'm like the most maticulous guy around, and I can remember even the most detailed information around.

My girlfriend would say that she is that even though I'm physically there, but other than that, nothing about me is there, which to a certain extend I would agree. But like I always say, I'm trying, and I'm determine to solve this problem.

A big apology to people that I have offended with this deficiency of mine, I'm almost here, give me some time, and I will be totally here. :)

Cheer Bear
You're the Care Bear cheerleader! Your spunky personality and optimisim lifts everyone's spirit. Despite this, you are a true believer in working together, and you are love by many.

My Favourite Fruit - The Banana Revolution (It is not nearing, it is already here)

After reading this, you'll NEVER look at a banana in the same way again!

Energy:
Bananas Containing three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber, a banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS: Forget the pills -- eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.

Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it the perfect way to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.

Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

Hangovers: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.

Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief. Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.

Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. M
any people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system. Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort foods like chocolate and chips. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.

Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a "cooling" fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand, for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.

Smoking: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.

Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be re-balanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.

Strokes: According to research in "The New England Journal of Medicine," eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%!

So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrates, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around. So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, "A banana a day keeps the doctor away!"

Weekend is here again...

Yesterday, I attended the most bitchy, bimbotic, and absolutely brainless lesson in my life. It totally threw my respect and interest for sociology away man. I was in this tutorial and the tutor got us to go into groups to discuss about commercials which suppose to NOT discriminate against guys. And I was like the only guy in my group with 5 other girls. They are like bitching about the commercials, saying that the guys in the commercial are really stupid, and guys in general are stupid. They just kept laughing at it, and then after which they shared their drunk experiences, and they love doing stupid things. Now, look who is calling who stupid. Hahaha, I'm not pissed nor angry, and no, not that I'm gender biased, but you just said guys are stupid and then you share your genders' stupidity...duh.

My soci Prof calls me up and asked if I copied my summary from a book. It is suppose to be an essay summary. A summary writing that I write for my essay. Ironically, it was so impressive, that she never seen it here and she thinks I copied from a journal or somewhere. Somehow or rather, I really did not bother to even explain, and I said, I wished I would have copied so that it would not take me so much time, and NO, asians standards are not any lower than the ang mohs, and NO, doesn't mean you haven't seen any good piece of work in Otago, doesn't mean there is no Student who can't produce a work that is of that standard. On the other hand, after that, I kinda felt quite honoured. She even think I plagarised??? And I plagarised from myself? That's flattering. :)

Was doing my 3rd powerpoint here, and yes, my 3rd powerpoint in my life. I'm quite happy with the results of it so far. People here who have done ppt in their life wants a copy from me so that they can go back and use it for reference. I want to thank pple like Caiyun, K-Boon, Sabz, and Tsetiann for inspiring me to do a powerpoint that could be even reckoned with. Thank you guys.

Got a hall movie tonight. Someone madea movie, and I would think she is qite amazing. producing a movie of that standard at such a short span of time on top of her studies, 100% salute and respect from me man. After seeing her movie on our hall, I'm so much more determined to master 2 things, Adobe photoshop and Adobe Movie Premeire.

This weekend will be mugging week for my psycho test next Tues. Not that I'm a nerd, but when you do not go for lectures and pay attention in class, there is always the "last minute hope, salvation or damage control" that you have to do. ;p

As for tonight, going to relax and now...Wine Appreciation Part 3.....

Horse Riding

Act smart last night, was chatting with my friend, slept like 6am, and woke up at 8.50am and my lesson is at 9am. Rushed to school, and I didn't miss my last lab lesson. For some reasons, I love labs...haha

Then was feeling quite tired the whole day because my day starts from 9am till 7pm. I have horse riding in the middle right after my class, and right after horse riding I have french. Went to meet my group for presentation discussion. I dunno whats the obejctive of meeting when I'm the only one supplying the answers and ideas. Sigh...

Today, I'm going to introduce Taco to all of you. Taco is the horse that I have been riding last week and today. He is a good boy. I learnt throttling today, about to gallop quite a bit, I guess next week I will be jumping off hurdles with Taco. This is so fun.... And Taco have been Sweet...Muacks...

+ve/-ve?

Actually, no matter how good you are, there bound to be people talking about you. Those people are call critics. You will never be good enough for many people. Take for instance, there is no like perfect being, there is always 2 side of a coin (ie, the good and the bad).

I agree with that there is no perfect being, but my point of this entry is for those who always give critics. Sometimes putting people down ain't the best way to help them improve, I would think motivation in terms of encouragement will help them so much more. Why can't you see that the so call person who is doing well , or in your opinion can be bad, but there are always many factors that causes the outcome.

Therefore there is really no need to be so critical, let loose abit lah. Machiam your a perfect being like that. And to those who have been criticise for whatever matters, just as long as you know you did your best, and you learn from it, the rest doesn't really matter. Wen xing wu kui.

p/s: this entry is not pin-pointing anyone in particular, just a thought.

~~~Happy Birthday Martina~~~
Uno, Dos, Tros...
Got back my presentation result today, and score 90%. Can't believe it man, one of my worst presentation ever and I got 90%. And I see the comments for the peer grading is rather senseless, they say I'm able to memorise which is good. Isn't presentation knowing about your products, my other group mates just read off from the script with minimal eye contact man. And they still have the guts to tell me that this is like the best grade they ever seen. Tsk tsk.. And my tutor said my outfit was nice...is he gay or what?
Went for spanish class, learn lotsa new stuff, very fun. I can't wait to try out my languages man. I hope my french can do as well as my spanish.
And finally, won a $50 supermart voucher for the winning entry for the hall's coverpage for the handbook. Though it is a 5mins sketch...hahaha....
Fruitful Day
Didn't rest well last night because I was doing some work. But surprisingly I manage to stay awake and focused in all my lessons today. And I manage to do lotsa things today.
Got back my refund on the bond after i lodged a complaint. And I collected back my refund on Jet Boating.
Today, I was reading the university's monthly publication, and it is quite cool to actually critic the student union committee members. They give a detail analysis of their good and bad points and then grade them out of 5. Their president is marked down despite being quite a figure head. And the cockiest guy got quite a good rating. Is so funny. They even advertise and give a ponographic critic. Something like "deep throat". This is damn hilarious.
There are like so many posters of OBS-NZ going around the school. How I wished I can go man. Then it will be my 5th OBS. And I heard lotsa good reviews about it....
Gotta rush an assignment which is due tomorrow and will be having Spanish tomorrow.
A conversation between a Godpa and a Godson
godson : sometimes after awhile, it get all too alien to each other.
godson : one thing that i realize though ..which i'm trying to break out of from the thinkings of the past..
godpa : why do u want to break out from thinking the past?
godson : no point carry what's negative in your mind to the future..
godpa : whats so negative about your past?
godson : interaction with people was only in this place and i made my circulatio within this place and felt that outsiders were just strangers not meant to be made friends with
godpa : hmm
godpa : that shldnt b the case rite
godson : yah so am moving out from there
godpa : u dun haf to move out
godpa : u move together yah?
godson : to the point of learning to accept people and learn to love them
godpa : meaning
godpa : u learn to mke new fren
godpa : wifout forgoing your old
godson : it's like you've got only this amount of space to upload and you can't carry the rest of it..
godson : so that thinking i know i have to let go...
godpa : u can if u want
godpa : juz like
godpa : there is always lotsa burden with us
godpa : but many a times
godpa : we will tke it wif us
godpa : regardless of hw hard it is
godpa : but u noe that
godpa : the eventual result will be something that is worth it
godson : that happens but not everytime
godpa: it happens becoz u want it to
godson : for this case when i came to this NEW place, i felt so difficult trying to fit in and to worship properly..
godpa: y?
godson : so when i let my mind at ease and free it from all of this,of course through HIM i made it..and i can tell you..the feeling is Woooo ! haaha
godson : can see myself in the past and i can just laugh at it..
godson : it's like, you actually did that,how foolish...
godpa : I am glad u have grown
Kinda of sad why so many pple that I know are "moving on" without giving due consideration to the past. Is true that past do not have any bearings to the future, but it is because of the past that you are what you are now, and it helps to shape the future. The next time when you decide to give up something, please spare a thought for the time and energy that is put into it, the tears and happiness that you took out from it, is it really not worth it at all?
Recharged!!!
Last week was really an eventful week for me. Have so many things up in school. I'm pretty afraid for my French, the paper was not easy, even though I think I did ok, but the paper was too tough. We are suppose to know so many things in so little time. The amount of work they give the student is assuming every student is doing 3 papers, but i'm doing 5. sian diaoz. The text book plus workbook is able to win any of my modules done so far in my univeristy life.
Went to the farm on Sat. It is not a particularly big farm. Just 2 horses, 2 sheeps, 2 guenine pigsm a rabbit and a dog. The house si so nice, and they have a big field for the horses to run around. The view is really mesmerizing. I simply love it.
And the best part of it all, there is like a sea beside the house, so the beach is just like a road away from the farm. This really seems like a very good retirement place for me. :) Just before we leave the beach, we saw this guy on a chariot, with 5 horses pulling it....riding a chariot on the beach, isn't this like a fantasy....
Fride some noodles and chicken and cook my favourite potato soup yesterday. Those who tried it say it was good. I'm so happy that at least now I dun have to worry how to cook stuff, like what my mum say, cooking is all about feeling, and yes, when I have inspiration, i do cook very good meals.
Tried my first lesson on Adobe editting today. Self exploration. Still quite lost, but I'm determined to master it b4 i go back to Singapore. Plans for North Island, Steward Island and South Island's trip is underway....
Was quite happy to see that the opposition maintained 2 seats and that PAP won by 66.6%, a significant 9% drop. Polls have shown that more Singaporeans are more interested in politics and the turnout for rallies or the opposition is 2-3 times more than PAP.
Not that I have anything against PAP. But I beleive in what we preach, in order to be a first world country, we have to ensure we at least ensure what we preached, we keep telling people we are a democratic society, and yet it is almost impossible for a 2nd party to go against the government. many feared the possible damages that are done to them. though, i must admit that some oppositions are really asking for it.... I believe that not everyone up there is running all these for the people, most are just running for the $$$. How often do you see people who are really giving their hearts... But one thing I'm sure, the present generation of first time voters definitely know what they are doing, because, they are thinkers who know what is good for the their country, and do not really care about lift upgrading, or the rising cost of living. For this, I applaud them.
I had a tution teacher in my secondary school days. he is a govenrment scholar during his JC and university days, and he is doing really well now, earning a good pay of 4-5k. I just find it so funny that many peole are just happy to with that amt of $$$ given their potential. I know some of u will say $$$ is not everything, but trust me that it is not enough for him because if it is enough, why doesn't he spend more time with his family and giving tution instead.
As much as I feel that I will be contented in life, $$$ is not everything, but I'm a firm believer of giving the best in everything I do. I'm not an ambitious person, I'm not a perfectionist, but I'm one who works hard and put in my best effort in doing anything and everything, and will strive to push beyond my limits. Many people like to travel the common paths, a few like to travel the less travelled path, but for me, I would like to start a new path for people to travel on.
This weekend is a good recharge for me. Sleep enough, rest enough, and slack enough. Next week will be full spped.
fianlly over
the most hectic week in NZ is over. time for some good relaxation. and im typing this blog at 0545hours. I just love having the ability to do my own readings at my own pace instead of rushing through.
will be sleeping my day away to catch up on rest and try to finish 2 more essays for this entire term. I can smell the hols, and I really can't wait to go....
~~~Happy Birthday Melvin~~~

~~~Happy Birthday Caiyun~~~
Who blame who???
Alvin told me today I'm having a good time, because I very long never kao peh in my blog. That's funny. Then I started to think about how come I kao peh so much...
Many a times, we blame lotsa people, lotsa things for bad things that befall unto us. Like F$%^ A for doing this, if not A, I probably would not feel this way. And I must admit that sometimes I'm like that too.
Why do we often blame others for times that things they do upset you. For the simplest of sense, when you draw back the root of it, ain't you the one who should be at fault.
If you didn't expect others to conform to your expectations or your standards, whatever they do will not make you unhappy right? If you are just contented for what you are and accept them for what they are, things will be normal, won't they?
Sometimes, the wisest people are couples that are breaking up. In that situation, you often find the girl/guy saying, it is not about you, it is about me. Hahahaha, see, they know is their fault. It is because maybe the girl/guy have changes in expectations, and for this, it is not an excuse, it is a reason.
So right now, I will try as much as possible to stay clear headed, and before I get angry or pissed the next time, I have to check myself first, and ask if I'm expecting something from that someone.
Think again...
The next time when you want to do things but you have financial limitations, think about this...
Did you know that our Prime Minister pays himself $160,000 a month? That's three times more than the President of the United States. The ministers are paid $100,000 a month - the highest in the world.
Can you believe this? 100 times more than a new graduate....these amount stated are exclusive of bonuses....
This entry is not written out of jealous, but for the people's interest at heart. Why would they want to help singaporeans, and yet increase in income gaps?
Possible answer: The long they stay inside, the....(cannot say too much)
Disclaimer: Please do not sue me for posting this up, because if you have the interest of people at heart, you wouldn't even think about sueing them.
Spanish + Horse Riding
Have been dead busy with school work that I actually do not even have to reply emails, plus where to find time to write on my bloggie.
Nonetheless, squeezing whatever time I have to make jot down the bits and pieces of my life. I went for my first Spanish lesson yesterday, it is so much easier than french, I hate to say this, but I really cannot catch up with french, even though it is the module that I put in the most effort. On the other hand, I'm learning Spanish and Italino so fast...argh....
Then today, I went to horse riding. I finally ride a horse. So shiok. Can't wait for the horse trek and the few more lessons that I left. Looks like I will learn how to make the horse jump...hahaha, so fun. But today is really not a good day, I felt tired, and keep falling asleep in class. Must be the lack of sleep due to the rushing of lab report and essay, and also the weather.
I just finished my french listening test, and I totally have no clue what the hell they are saying. I feel so bad....I must start bucking up man....
I still have a french test on Friday, with my Lab report due tomorrow, I have yet to officially start on my report....
I got back my mgmt report. That one that I spend 3hrs to write a 3500words essay, and I got 16/20 and the prof wrote good work!!! I dun believe it man. I did not even put in effort...
I think my mum is going to be so proud of me when she finds out that I have to wash my dishes, wake myself up, cook my own food, and do my own laundry....hahaha.
Yesterday, my friend who is a girl from China told me that next time I play soccer she will join in. She say so hard to find Chinese people so active...hahaha, so sweet hor...
So now, time to hit back my books....
One more thing, I find that we often find reasons to justify our actions and seldom we do otherwise. And when this happens, it is called EXCUSES, not reasons!!!!
