North Island here I come...

Alright, all packed, ready to go. I'm finally leaving this place. I should be sounding excited over the trip, but I'm not, carrying with me lotsa mixed emtions. Feeling kinda sad as so many of us part, feeling unsettled over my next exchange, feeling exasperated over someone whom i trusted talked behind my back, feeling doubtful about my examinations results, and unsure of my traveling plans to Auckland.

Well, i live my life only once, so i will try to make the best out of what I have. will be meeting a few people along the way, hope its going to be fun.

Will post more when I have a more clearer flow of thought. till then...

Alas....

Finally finish my last paper today. Had a dreadful countdown since last week.... I dun really feel as if I have finished my exams, partly is because a lot of people have left Toroa.

The paper today was my worst paper in this exams. 125 MCQ, and totally never give chance. All the questions require higher order application, and it is a darn 100 level paper. I should have taken a higher level paper instead, easier to pass. I just want to pass, not to score, now I'm really hoping that I won't fail....

Had dinner with Mingyang at The Reef, something like Fish n Co, but I still think Fish n Co is nicer, though Mingyang insisted that The Reef have really good food.

Darn, my leg is still swollen from last week's tramp, this is a result of lack of training and discipline. I trek like this shouldn't be too much a problem for me, I wonder what happen...muz be because of age.... K, I musn't find excuses for myself.

My hair is so long now and I need a hair cut, will do it when I'm back in Singapore. It has been more than half a year since my last hair cut. =p It is getting a little too unpresentable, though I dun really care, but pple r all so superficial, bo bian....

Tml's morning match would be quite exciting, from my analyze, I think Germany, Poland, England and TnT will win. So far my investing in probability of the soccer aka betting hasn't fail me yet. Initial capital of $20 is not growing to a pot of $160, after tonite, I think I will be hitting near $250 assuming my predictions are all correct.

The last 2 world cup brought much returns, and hopefully this one will be the same. =) And people, stop gambling on it, coz as the chinese saying goes, 10 gamble 9 sure lose one. That is why I choose to invest with calculated risk and expected returns. Together with my emergency cutting price at $20, there is no way I will lose money now. And make sure when you invest, dun put all your eggs in the same basket, diversification works, I have gain 800% returns already. If at the end of this world cup I can reach $500, then my North Island trip is for free. hahaha. But first, let me clear this group stage with a high first.

Enough of Tipster Special. If anyone want a fool proof bet, take a draw at half time for all matches. If you look at stats, so far almost every night got team draw at half time, overall you will win one lah.

Tomorrow is a busy day clearing my room and preparations for moving out and trip to N.Island. And Port Craig is cancel due to poor response, shall stay at home and rest my stupid leg.....

And finally, I got the acceptance package from ITAM today. Alright, now for all the preparations for Mexico....argh

Suddenly it is all so quiet

I finally left 1 paper, and 2 flatmates within one day. Alex(the china guy) and Elena(italian girl) left for auckland today. The flat seems to be so quiet, like something is missing. Even though tml is like the last paper, but there isn't much to celebrate.

Will be leaving on Sat morning for Wellington, and had finalized my plans. Will be traveling alone for half the journey, and I will meet Alex to drive down to Dunedin b4 I commence on my road trip in south island. made plans to meet up with some of my classmates all over south island, it will be awesome.

I will upload more pictures and finish construction of my blog b4 this weekend, hopefully. :)

Last Weekend @ Toroa Residence

It came to the time to start missing the good old times in Toroa. A place which provided me shelther and warmth for half of 2006. Today, I woke up early to do my last wkend laundry, and made my way to church. It didn't appear to me it is my last weekend here until I saw the notice board that the first person to is going to leave this place tml, and over the next few days there will be more people leaving, and I will be leaving for north island next Sat. Will try to confirm the return leg by today.

Then I will be traveling south island for 2 weeks b4 gg back to Singapore. I am still left with 2 papers, argh...and I having a hard time to really study. I just hope to pass, nothing else. Just hope I can survive through it. Will be having a last flat dinner tonite. And two of my flatmates are in fact leaving tml.

I dedicate this entry to the wonderful Toroa International Hall. =)

Corpus Christi

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi commemorates the institution of the Holy Eucharist, paralleling Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) commemorating Our Lord's institution of the Eucharist. Corpus Christ was introduced in the late 13th century to encourage the faithful give special honor to the institution of the Holy Eucharist to the Blessed Sacrament. The official title of this Solemnity was changed in 1970 to The Body and Blood of Christ (Latin: Sollemnitas Sanctissimi Corporis et Sanguinis Christi); and it is still on the Roman Missal’s official Calendar for the universal Church on Thursday after Trinity Sunday; however, where it is not a day of obligation (as in the United States) it is usually celebrated on the Sunday following Trinity Sunday.

The priest said in his sermon today...
Someone I recently offered communion to, looked at me with such pained eyes saying "look, I don't deserve communion". I looked straight back and said exactly what was i my heart, "tell me who does"!
This is so true, how often do we feel that we really dun deserve to rec'd him? But despite all these, he is willing to forgive us for everything that we have done, and will allow us to start everything a new. Cum'on no one is perfect, and we must try to accept people for who they are... yes and I'm doing just that....

The feeling is still there

My fingers is still feeling numb after so long. Yes, and the tempreature is continuing to get lower everyday.

I watched England's match this morning. And I wondered how come England played so bad. There have the stars from all the best english clubs, like they always play superbly during in premiership, but they are really bad in world cup. Steven Gerard is not everywhere around the field, Frank Lampard has more than 10 clear chances but he is not clinical enough to finish it.

However, the people that are really doing the job well is Rio, Terry and Beckham. I'm not fan of Beckham, but I seriously think he is like one of the few consistent people around. Critics always say Beckham is over-rated, but more than 75% of england's goal are from the assist of Beckham, and even though his freekick is not as deadly as last time, his cross and pass still create goal for England.

After the break, we thought England would become sharper but no, they became worst, only after the introduction of Wayne Rooney, the psychological morale of the team improves. Wayne looks silent, but his prescene in the team makes the team much confident. And a player to look out for...Lennon from Tottemham. He has great flaire and dribbling abilities.

I'm set to start mugging. I quite like this low pressure kinda revision. This is like a dream man. Watch soccer at nite, study a little bit in the day, and then soccer again. Tonite I will be watching Holland's game, I know they will make the match worth watching. The kind of fast flowing soccer that I would love to watch. Holland to win the world cup. =)

Letter from India...

Namaskaar,

Here are soome photos that I promised, I actually do not have much photos with me now as most of the photos are taken by my photo-happy fellow interns. The first photo is part of the famous Taj Mahal Hotel and the other one is that of the 'Gateway To India'. Two over-photograhed structures of Mumbai. Without been to disrepectful to my indian brothers in the mailing list, you will go "wow' when you see the buildings, 5 mins later you will struggle to stop yawning. In addition, you have to stop touts from selling you everything from ice-cream to photographs to postcards and to binoculars to see god knows what.

It seems to me that Singapore is one of the few countries in Asia that uses toilet paper. Just like our friends in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, the locals here traditionally used water to clean themselves up , with their left hand. So just like our neighbours, the left hand is considered 'dirty' and eating and shaking hands are all done with the right. Makes you wonder what if u are born left-handed.

The moonson is coming to India. I got the first taste of it 1.5 weeks back. Bombay's infrastructure is not built to support the millions of people and I heard from my flatmates that they have friends who are stuck in office because the trains are down, or the cabs are moving so slowly at a speed of a 1m/min that they rather stay in the office.Luckily my workplace is only a 5 min walk away. The rain was so bad that night that the whole central railway line was disrupted.

I went to the local multiplex called 'Inox' to watch Xmen3. Impressive, it can give PS and cineleisure a run for their money. Just like Thailand, they played the national anthem before the movie start. Was enjoying the movie when suddenly the screen went blank and this pop up ---'10 Mins Intermission'
What the heck man, movie also must halftime meh. It sounds a good idea for those cursed with weak bladders but still I have my reservations bout it, personally I want to watch my movie un-interrupted.
Luckily for Xmen3, it stop at a non-action pack moment, I heard that for the Da Vinci Code, the movie was stopped in the middle for the car-chase sequence and that definitely is not impressive.

Also, I think it will be very useful to throw in a survivor tip bout cab-taking in Mumbai, even though it probably holds true for the rest of India. The cabs run on some sort meter. I say some sort because its not electronic, starts up turning a knob clockwise but works rather accurately as you weave through the traffic. Then comes the payment part, you are suppose to take the number from the meter and then compare it to this chart that every cab driver should have to dervive the correct amount. Failure to do that will see that you probably pay enough from south mumbai to central mumbai. The cabs here starts at $0.50, so you can take a 10min journey and the bugger quote u the eqivalent of $4, you can smile sweetly at him saying 'KNN ah neh, can you show me ur chart please'.

I usually scroll my eyes , snap my fingers and say 'chart'

Will tell more Singapore-style survivor stories next time, including that of how I got a fine by the local railway authorities, which is enough to pay for all my local train rides in india :( , with probably some change for a chai and chicken briyaini.
Shall end this email by plagarising this from a magazine that I kop from the hotel where I'm working at.
'May your life be like the toilet paper -- long & useful !'

cheers,

(for privacy sake, the person shall be left anonymous, but this guy is a good crap)

Bluff & Stewart Island

I woke up late on Sat morning, so I had to like speed to bluff in order to catch the ferry to Steward Island. Cutting the lanes at 140-150km/h on average with my 1.5cc manual car, it is absolutely fantastic. I finally arrived like 5mins before the the ferry departure time, and when I went to the counter, they told me today's weather is bad and therefore there won't be any ferry going to stewart island. What the hell, I speed all the way, and you tell me there is no tix to Steward Island. Argh...

I spend my entire sat exploring bluff instead. It is a really nice place. I took a small trek at one New Zealand's southermost park/clift. The wind is so strong at the south coast that a 70kg over guy like me got blown off sometimes.
Watched the sunset, and then took a nap because I woke up so early this morning. Then I woke up to mug for my psych, yeah, i brought my text book along, studied like one chapter, and I slept in my car for the night. My back seats is able to fold down, and the backseats connect to the boot, I have more than enough space to lie down, and it was definitely warm and cosy in my car. =)

Woke up the next morning to catch the sunrise, but it never came. I think the sun was too lazy to get up so early, and then I went to catch the first ferry to Steward Island. You see, actually I planned on a 3D/2N tramping trip, I brought just enough food to last me the during of time, so having spend one day in bluff, I barely have enough food to last me for another 3D/2N, so I decided to attempt the trek in 2D/1N which means I have to cover over 30km of undulating terrain in my first day so that I can reach the 2nd check point, skipping the first one. I must say that the view in Stewart Island is just like any rainforest, but it is beautiful because it is untouched, in a sense, it is being kept at the most original form.
And I said to myself, I know I can complete this within 2D/1N. And I was told this was a great walk, meaning that the treks are well define and not much climbing or whatsoever. My "great walk" started with mother nature's showers of blessing, I walked in the rain for the whole day. The paths were muddy, and as much as I try to siam, the mud is simply overwhelming, that there is almost no way I can siam. Then there are walks that were suppose to be on the beach, and freaking hell, it was high tide when I was there. The good thing is that there is a high tide track, the bad thing is the track ends half way, and I still have to walk on the beach. Argh...I did some bouldering and sea crossing, wetting my pants. You know lah, your morale feels damn bad when your waist down is soaked, especially your foot. And I thought, I'm trained in this kinda situations, it is nothing compared to the Brunei where I literally walk the in the river for 2 days.

Then came this "sign" Track follows beach, so I skirt the beach because it is high tide, then after walking for like a good lenght, where I bashed, and I crossed a river because there was a rope tied there, and looks like a river crossing site, then I realized that I can't be bashing a way out here for myself. So I back-track to find another group of people that are on their way there. They showed me the map, and I'm suppose to cross the bridge instead of following the stupid sign board. I got lost for an hour. Never to travel without a map, a compass and alone, morale will be super low. Even in ranger course they have a compass and a map. I didn't get the map at the information counter because it was not useful at all, the map that the other group got was photocopied from some funny book.

So I continue my walk, at that point my hands and my toes are already numb, meaning, I cannot even unzip my sweater. I can't feel anything at all. My legs are moving, but my toes cannot feel my boots at all. Then sunset was at 5pm, freaking hell, I only started the trek at 11am, I'm suppose to take at least 6hours, but I was lost for one hour. And walking in the night have to double the time. And considering the fact that I didn't take any breaks at all, other than 1-2mins of photo taking, TMD, I'm still not at the check point I suppose to be.

I was feeling cold and lousy, my clothes were all soaked, and it is still raining even after sunset. =( I quickly grab a few bite because I never ate lunch (too garang liao, want to finish early so skip lunch), and took out my torch. After the quick snack, I feel my body being warmed up a little, which was good, gave me a little more confidence walking at night. However, my trusty torch that followed me through my army daze gave up on me in the middle of my night walk. At the same time, my calf started to experience cramp because of the cold weather, and I just keep hitting on the cramp part so that it can go away, then the stooopid cramp spread to my whole leg and then to both my legs. Great, murphy is with me man, anything bad that can happen, HAPPENED to me. I took a rest, to ease my cramps. Feeling cold, helpless, and almost immobile, I rest and I actually doze off while resting. I quickly stand up, telling myself I'm not gonna stay out here for too long, for the fact that I know I'm somewhere near getting hypothermia, all the symptoms are showing. I quickly force myself to walk, and luckily when the moon came out, it was full moon, I use the moonlight that I greatly depend on during my army days and walk my way out. finally, at 8.30pm I reach the hut - My checkpoint. I actually walked more than 3 hours in the dark, alone. I just felt it was like forever....

There were like 4 americans in the hut where they took the reverse route. They are ready to turn in for the night, and cuddling close by the fire. I went in and they offer me the fire place. Knowing that I was completely drenched and feeling cold, they(the americans) have no cow sense to let me get infront of the fire, they just sat there, and I have to sit beside the fireplace and put my hands into the fire place to defroze my hands. Gosh, now I know why Americans are like so hated. hahaha, i'm just generalizing, dun take it to heart. This is a sneak preview of what they did the night before.
The last leg was abit of a challenge, feeling the aftermath of the cramp, and aches all over my body, I have to get to the ferry terminal by 3pm because my ferry was leaving. I left the hut at 1030hours, and they told me it will take me about 4 hours plus to make it to the jetty. And I took 3.5hours, feeling really proud of myself, not that i completed in a time shorter than them, but it was after my tiring first day, and I'm still able to finish at a time faster than the americans.

Lessons learnt from this trip, check out on what attire you are suppose to be in. I have no waterproof clothing so it made matters worst. Check your torch light though I checked it. Always bring extra food. Get a map and a compass if there is no guranteed defined treks. And finally, no matter how confident you are, allwaiz make sure u do lotsa preparations, treat all your treks as your first so that it will not be your last.

The thought of Bluff's Oysters keep hovering in my mind for the whole time when I was in Stewart Island. Did you guys know that the best oysters in the world is from New Zealand, and apparently Bluff is the place that they consolidate their catch, because it is the southern most part in this world. I went to hunt for a nice resturant and ordered half a dozen of oysters and eat to my heart's content.
The drive back home took me slightly more than 3 hours, and I have to travel in the dark. First time driving at night on a high way, pretty dangerous I must say. now I know why so many people die while driving in NZ. Slippery road, no street lamps, and beside the highway is either the sea, the valley or cliff, so one wrong move, you will fall to either of this...and the worst part of the journey, it was pouring the whole night, driving in the rain with limited light isn't like the best way to travel. alas, if I'm still able to blog this entry, it means that I'm still alive and kicking, just that I type so much slower because my fingers are still feeling numb.... =(

Tramping Trip @ Stewart Island

I only started studying today's paper like a few hours before the paper. And I think I really smoked the whole paper. I studied this summary sheet, it was so good, everything came out was asking almost the same question as previous years. 3 exams down, 2 more to go, soci and psyc.

Back home, I will never have more than 3 exams in a semester, this is the first time that I'm having 5, thats crazy. But it proves to be worth it, coz it is not that hard...

I just finished packing for my tramping trip tml. It was suppose to be a light, but it ended up being heavy, I think is because I brought lotsa water and clothes for the cruel weather.

Stewart Island is like the world's southern most island, and people said they see kiwis there, I hope to be able to catch some. And the weather will be extremely cold, given now is winter, so I expect some challenge. Good challenge of course.

Will be back on scheduled 15th. But if all things work out fine, I will just be back on Monday instead. :) Meanwhile, enjoy whatever you are doing guys....

For all those that will be putting on the 3rd ring...

To Glenda, Mark and Colleen....

3 of my close friends getting married soon. One in July, one in oct, and the other one TBC.

My heartest congratulations....

Some small advertisement for my friend, if you want to do something different and special on any day, visit this website. It is quite cool. Of course, I dun get to get any commission out from this, and I dun even think my friend know that I'm doing this, but anyway, i only recommend things that I think is good...enjoy!!!

Kester...when is your turn?

One of the random mails that you rec'd...but this is quite nice.

1. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

2. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

3. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

4. When you say, "I love you," mean it.

5. When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye.

6. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

7. Believe in love at first sight.

8. Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams don't have much.

9. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.

10. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.

11. Don't judge people by their relatives.

12. Talk slowly but think quickly.

13. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"

14. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

15. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.

16. When you lose, don't lose the lesson .

17. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and responsibility for all your actions.

18. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

19. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

20. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.

21. Spend some time alone.

2 down and 3 more to go

I was really shocked yesterday when I checked my results for my internal assignments, it is 65%. Most of the exams here are heavy weightage. All are around 60-70% final exams. And I was surprise to see 65% of internal assessements. And I got like like near 80% of the 65%. Which means to say, I have already pass my entire course. However, there is a term requirement, I need to also pass the final paper in order to pass the course. And if I were to pass the final paper, I would definitely get an A grade. And I went through the whole list, and I topped the class of 101 students, I dare not even tell my friends that I got the higgest, coz I always never study.

The paper was almost perfect, but the problem is that I though the paper was 3 hours but it was 2 hours. So I have 15mins to attempt my last question which is 40marks. hahaha, the first time I'm losing out and I'm feeling so happy. The main thing is pass can already...time to relax relax...

one more paper tml...will start studying after dinner, too lazy to start. I have already pass the paper. Just need to pass the final exams. A very lazy exam...

Do you think you are sexier than me???

Well, I dun believe all these crap. But this is fun, and I how can I disagree with it when they are stating the fact....=)

by http://www.sexgage.com/
-----------------------------------
Even though you are sexy, both men and women agree that confidence and a sense of humor are very important when seeking a date or soul mate. So whether you are looking for true love or simply dating, a confident smile goes a long way.

Line of Heart
Your Line of Heart is a curved line. You are creative and sensitive. Sometimes ruled by emotions, sometimes by imagination. Sometimes you let feelings get in the way of clear thinking, and often for the better.

Girdle Of Venus
You have the line called Girdle of Venus. Few people possess your level of passion. Your desires and needs are many and strong. An artistic nature which can be very original when given freely to expression.

Shape of Fingertips
The tips of your fingers are round. Sometimes other people seem too slow, so you finish their sentences for them. You are bright and intuitive, with a tendency to stick your neck out too far and getting hurt.

Thumb Flexibility
Based on the flexibility level of your thumb you are generous and open to suggestions. Flexible and friendly, original at times but willing to cooperate with the right persons. Open to experimentation and exploration.

Highest Mound
Your highest mound is on the base if your thumb. A people person. Outgoing and going out. Likes to laugh and party. Appreciates good food, good friends, and good drink.

Enfin, c'est plus de.

Yes, the torturing french is finally over. I was surprise how I could read a passage of french. I think my hard work pays off. And now, I'm going to have 2 more exams in the next 2 days and I have yet to study. Wishing me best of luck man. =)

Today, when I walked pass the library, I recalled the same kind of smell that I remember smelling when I first arrived in the school. Over time, I get really use to it, and I forgotten how it smell like. But today, I smell it again, and the place starts to become very foreign to me again...maybe it is because I suddenly feel that I know I'm going to leave this wonderful place in no time....awww...

Flamme

I'm going to die studying french, somebody help....

----------

Flamme Slai lyrics
Artist:
Slai
Album: Flamme
Year: 2004
Title: Flamme

Ouhouhouh, ouhouhouhouhouhouhouh

Ouhouhouh, ouhouhouhouhouhouhouh
Je m’éteint, comme une flamme
( lorsque tu n’est pas là )
Je frissonne d’amour quand je sent
( ton souffle derrière moi )
Tu me rend fou, je n’peux plus penser
( lorsque j’entend ta voix )
Je succombe, quand tu laisses ta main
( posée sur moi comme ça )

Je m’éteint, comme une flamme
( lorsque tu n’est pas là )
Je frissonne d’amour quand je sent
( ton souffle derrière moi )
Tu me rend fou, je n’peux plus penser
( lorsque j’entend ta voix )
Je succombe, quand tu laisses ta main

Let it Snow, let it snow, let it snow....

It was like a childhood dream came true. While we are having our farewell dinner, just when everyone is getting restless, it started to snow. Oh my god, not that I have never seen snow in my life, but I have never seen snowing before. So I rushed out of the restuarant. The sight was wonderful man. With snow all of the road, and cars covered with snow.
Seize the opportunity to take some photos, and had some snow fights. It ended in less than 15mins. But when we reached home, it started snowing again, this time, we have lotsa snow fight. Because I'm leaving on the top of the road, I threw lotsa snowball down, and ambush lotsa people. It was so fun...snow war is so fun. It was like after midnight, and everyone still having snow fight.
My desperate attempt to clone a frosty. It is not suppose to be good, because we have limited snow, and i'm not wearing gloves, so freaking cold to hold the snow. And there it is, my wife covered in snow....

Well, they say it is almost impossible to see snow in Dunedin, even if there is, it will be in the late winter, and Winter just arrived, and I'm like so lucky to be able to witness it. It was great fun man. Dunedin never gets snow that easily, and I have seen it. I have already gotten the best out of this experience in New Zealand, I will leave NZ with no regrets. Awwwwww....

Farewell Dinner

It was a very intense farewell. Knowing in 3 weeks time, everyone will be going back to their home country, or doing their own travelling. This friendship seems to be like a friendship in wonderland, where all of us have so much fun. This really reminds me so much of asean fellowship, where the bonding is so strong. Like how I always like think, people from all over the countries, with different languages, beliefs and cultures to come together and eventually become the best of friends.

If given me another chance, I would still apply for Toroa and get to know the same people, including those who steal my food. =p I hope all of these friendship will last till very very long. And the experience here in Toroa...money can't buy. If I were you, coming for an exchange in Otago and your an international student. Toroa will be my first choice.

There are like so many people that I will miss. But it is not the end of anything like i mention before, it is just a beginning of another journey for many of us, and if our paths were to cross again, we will be there to reminisce the things we have done during our time in this utopia. Looking forward to our eventual reunion. =)

Congrats

Today, Colleen broke the news to me. She is engaged. Her boyfriend proposed to her on top of Mt. K. Isn't that sweet. Oh my god, I'm like so excited and happy for her. She is like my bestest friend in TPJC, and I know she is going to forget about me so soon after she get married. =p

Even though she slowly starts to forget about me, which I can understand, because she had a bf, and now is her fiance. I just hope to dun totally forget about me.

All my good mates are getting engaged and married, all trying to tie themselves down so early man. But like my good mate Mark says, when you find that special someonem, you won't wait and want to commit to her. Hahah, how true, coming from someone who is deeply in love.

I will still wait for someone to propose to me. No need to be at Mt. K, at my void deck enough already. =p

A last walk on memory lane...almost

Thursday
We had some certificate presention, not. There isn't any kiwi students there, all exchange students. And I can see some are happy that they are finally returning home, and some are sad because they are leaving this wonderful place. If given me another chance, I would definitely choose this place again, but this time, study less and play more. I never ever find playing enough. :) Will be going to Steward Island in the middle of my exams, finally trekking the most southern island in the world. And yes, doing it alone. I can't wait for this wonderful experience.

Julia organised a Speights tour for us, she is just so sweet. The brewery tour was kind normal, the only thing that is exceptional is their premium beer.

It taste so so nice. I think you guys really have to try it. And it is interesting how brewery dun only make money through selling beers, but also by the by-products they produce. Marmite is made by Speights, so we are actually eating Speights every morning if we consume marmite.

Friday
Went for my last test for the semester here. It was awfully difficult, I do not even remember reading studying those french stuff that was tested. This is freak man. :(
I just hope by some sheer work of mircale, something happen in my finals and I will hopefully be able to pass it.

My flatmate Alex watched me as I cooked my dinner and prepared for Sat's Lunch+Dinner. We engaged in a very futuristic conversation, asking what we want to be in the future. He suggested to me that next time when I want to start a business, just count him in, then I say, why me? What happen if I fail? Then he said, "I trust you, you are those type that have biz brains, won't fail". I'm indeed flattered by this comments, but still, to find a partner, you do not just look for anyone to be your partner right. And if I were to look for a serious business partner, there are lotsa things I have take into consideration. Haha, if he is a venture capitalise, I will make him my partner without a doubt. But he no cash, only want to be part of the profit sharing team, then I would suggest that Dreams do come true, it is just a matter of when. =p

Went with Alex to watch X-men, it never fails to strike such a deep impact on me. How I wish I'm a mutant, hahaha, then I can just forget about doing all this crappy human stuff. But then again, there is always two side of a coin, so whatever I'm, just make the best of it bah.

Saturday
Force myself to wake up so early to do a last kayaking sea surfing. Suppose to meet at 8.45, but went there, and they were still have breakfast. Damn sianz, at least tell me take my time, I go there and see them eat. Ang Moh really one kind. Then when we load up our kayaks, realized that the car cannot start. We tried pushing it serveral times, but it failed to start. We ended up taking my car.

My car have to squeeze 2 kayaks and a surf board, and then Chris pushed it too hard and broke my rear mirror. Sigh, what a price to pay just to surf. But one consolation is that I finally know how to start my car. I always though that in such cold weather it takes damn long to start my car. This kind soul walk over, and help me with it, and taught me how to start my car. He is a really nice guy. And he even told me where and how to sell my car. He is really sweet as. The people here are really nice.

It is really cold, water is almost freezing, I can feel it so much, when I capsize, my natural reaction is not to roll up, but to bail out, because I cannot even hold my breathe under the water because of the low low tempreature of the water. But it was good fun anyway. I only manage to catch one good surf, the rest were crap. The waves today is really hugh, and I got trashed left right and center.

Alright, the rest of the day is strictly dedicated for revision. I have to really start man, time to discipline myself for now. :)

Disgustingly Funny
