Life in Barcelona

One month come and go by so fast. Just like what the chinese proverb goes, like the wind, it comes without a shadow and goes without a trace. At first I thought to myself how am I going to spend one month in Barcelona, what am I going to do? Now I know regardless of how much time I have, it is never enough....

Every picture here tells a story....
I organised a party at my place and invited all my schoolmates and Fahmy along. It was great. I cooked some oriental dishes and they too chipped in a little of their national dishes. It was fantastic. A great evening full of fun filled laughter, and getting to know each other better.
Tapas made by me for the fiesta. It looks like the tapas in Spain, but it doesn't taste like one. lolx. I guess I need some kinda sauce which I'm still trying to find ways to create it. Hopefully, I will be able to do something like that in Singapore.
What is a visit to Barcelona without going to the most known destination in Football. Nou Camp. It is all but like a normal stadium in our neighbourhood estate. Well, I never been inside, but from the outside, it look just like a normal ordinary neighbourhood, but it holds up to 100,000 pax. Impressive....
Together with Nina who left us during the first week (as she only takes a one week course instead of a month). At the end of any outing in Barcelona, we will sit down to enjoy a warm cup of Chocolate.... I will miss it for sure.
This photo is taken with Melanie. One of the person who got the most shit from me. Constantly being teased by me, but she is really good at handling it, because she is specialising in handling special needs kids, i guess i gave her a good prep course prior to going to start her career as a special needs teacher. =p
Pig legs are a delicacy here. It really good, and the packaging looks good too. lol. I was so surprised at how a pig's leg look so nice here as compared to those back at home.
Got to know Lauren during the last 2 weeks of school. But she was a great person to hang out with. Always up for anything and everything, and she is constantly profiling people as she majors in a Psychology. I wonder what she has made out of me...
Asushi is my team mate in our football match in Barcelona. I was conveniently put together with the Japanese Team against the team filled with european because I was yellow skin. So they paid for what they sterotyped. The match ended in a dramatic fashion 10-6 to The almost full Japan team with yours sincerely scoring 3 goals and 3 assists. And Asushi, he represented Japan for U18 years ago, and boy am I honoured to play with people of that calibre and still performing...well, on par with them. =p
This is one of the most addictive food you can think of in Barcelona. Chocolate with Churros, is something that anyone and everyone would die for. I made the worst mistake of my life by depriving someone from taking it. I'm sorry, I promise to bring u back to take it again. :(
