City Center, Mexico City
Finally met up with some exchange students to make our way down to the city center. 2 pesos for any train ride to any way, how cool can that be. It is not that hard to travel around Mexico after all, other than having such complicated connections.
I believe that many will agree that Mexico City center offer fantastic view, however as I mentioned in previous enteries, there have been demostration on the streets, thus didn't allow me to take much photos. What happen is one of the presidential candidates lost the elections by 0.4% of the votes and he claims that they are "bad" votes and foul play. He set up a camp(literally camping with tentages) along one of the major road - Reforma in the city center. As all of us know that Mexico City have very very bad traffic and is the most populus city in the world, and he actions does not help in any way.
The government of Mexico City is not doing anything because he belongs to the same party as him. However, if he doesn't clear by September 15-16 (Mexico's Independence Day), military will be called up to take him off.
Meanwhile, I took the opportunity to take some photos of the protest and the demostration by his party. =p
This is the statue of justice.
This is the parade square in the city center, usually it is empty, but he is occupying up...argh.
And this is an arial view from the sky tower, and the traffic situation at the point where this photo was taken is suppose to be the best. =)
