Chamonix, France

My first time taking a cross boarder train in Europe. The train is really punctual and the seats are really comfortable. For the next 3 weeks, I will be traveling with my OCS buddy – Fredrick. So instead of meeting him in Chamonix, coincidentally we met each other at the train station that is going towards Chamonix. Fredrick just finished his internship and is taking a few weeks break before going back to Singapore to face the reality – to work.
Chamonix is a small town in the middle of the French Alps. I always hear how nice and beautiful the alps are, and now I can fully testify this and feel good about it. J There are already snowcapped mountains in Fall even though the town level is kinda warm.
We checked into a resort which is really good, we have 2 storeys, cooking stove, basin and dining table. I mean what else can you asked for?
The next day, we took a lift up to the highest mountain in that region – L’Aguille du Midi. The view was fantastic especially you get to take pictures with all the snows and glaciers. And you get to see people doing para-gliding.
I’m kind of tired of doing jumping shots, so I decided to take a picture of me handstanding, using only one hand. A good start for what is suppose to be a 3 weeks adventure together in France and Germany.
