Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead)
This day is also affectionately known as Halloween and it is a national holiday. It is widely celebrated by all mexicans, just like how the chinese will do for hungry ghost festival. The idea is the same, but of coz the celebrations is different, with the mexican believe that it is a good day to be happy and you get to see all the skull and ghost candies all around mexico.
Even our prof gave us some candies yesterday during class for this day. It is really a big celebration, and thus explained for the long weekend that I had last week. Oh well, it is suppose to be a thurs and fir off, but being someone who dictate my own life, i decided that the eve of all this hols shld be hols for me too, and so, I got a good getaway. woo hoo....
and now back to mugging and will be done in 20 days. omg...
